I like our QB situation, this is the happiest I have been with one of guys since Marino has retired. That being said its hard to know what will happen with him after the season as they have already said they would like to start Henne. Would love to see Penningtion stay atleast in a backup/coach role here to help along White and Henne.
A couple interesting things from the article:
"Pennington also had high praise for fourth-round pick
Brian Hartline, a wide receiver from Ohio State."
I think it could be very likely that he will replace Cam on the roster at the start of the year, just have a feeling about this.
"While Brown and
Ricky Williams appear to be the lead backs, the Dolphins are giving a good look at ex-Montana RB
Lex Hilliard, one of their three sixth-round draft picks in '08. Hilliard, a fairly quick 5-11, 240-pounder, spent last season on the practice squad. The Dolphins' staff also loves
Patrick Cobbs, the fourth-year man from North Texas."
Good to hear that they are looking at Hilliard, I would hate to lose him this year and have Ricky retire and have to draft a replacement. I think Hilliard will be able to really fill the role that Ricky has now and it would be great not to have to waste a pick finding a RB next year when we can spend it on a Linebacker.
