It's one decent game out of 6 games so far. The defense played well, O-line played well and the running game played well. Everything went perfect for Tannehill and he played well. The problem is we already knew this about Tannehill, and could we have had same success today without Tannehill? I think yes, Case Keenum, Brian Hoyer and Cody Kessler all had nice games today as well. This is why I think Tannehill is replaceable.

Really? But if the team plays like **** and so did he, we call for his head? Sheesh... I'm all for getting a better qb in there but to make a thread like this? Is it that wrong to expect to have a good team around a qb for him to succeed?

I guess the 2 duds from the OL where not replaceable as well.

I'm not saying we only call for his head, but he should stop having so many people defend him with excuses. I didn't understand why some said the QB is fine, the O line is terrible but they don't defend Ajayi or our other RBs the same. The RBs are replaceable but our QB isn't?

You just said this in another thread and thought it was so ****ing profound that you needed to make it its own?

This isn't the game to talk about Tannehill. He did his job and executed. He wasn't phenomenal, but he wasn't bad at all either. He made a good amount of plays. I don't think anyone will change their opinions of him from this game. But of course he's going to look good when the rest of the does. I still believe he is an average QB you can win with, but he's not somebody who is going to win you games consistently either.

The problem is his contract balloons so big next season. If they want to keep him hopefully he restructures.

OP, take a hike. If any QB has been on their back as much as RT has over their career they would prove to be ineffective as well. Give an NFL QB time to throw, weapons at WR, a bruising running game and they will be successful. This is the first time all year that he wasn't sacked or pressured as in the prior games and he showed that he was worth every penny of his contract. How many balls were dropped today (a TD)? TD's called back by penalty? etc..........RT can make all the throws and is tough as nails!!!!!!

Yup.

But really you guys think we lose today's game if we had Brian Hoyer starting?

This is the thread you make minutes after the best win in almost a calendar year? You must be a hit at parties.

Why does it always have to be about Tannehill? Get over it already. The whole team played well today, as did he. He hasn't played well most of the season, nor has the WHOLE team. I just don't understand why so many people have to make useless threads about Tannehill. Like it or not, he is our QB for at least the rest of this year, maybe more. Many people on here say that his supporters are blind because they don't see how bad he is. Well, he had a good game today, and the people calling for his head can't even give him the credit he is due for 1 week. It works both ways dude, and for the record, everybody is replaceable.

I lost you at keenum, Kessler and Hoyer.... Just stop.

Yup.

Then you should second guess yourself more...

It's magical what happens when the defense has takeaways and limits damage and the OL doesn't allow a sack.

Team win there even despite the dropped balls and penalties that negated a TD.
