This is from Jeff Darlington's twitter feed:
Brown traveled to Charlotte w/ #Dolphins to see foot specialist named Bob Anderson, who will determine if he needs surgery, two sources say
It is believed he suffered a Lisfranc fracture in the midsection of his right foot. Miami already knows it's bad enough to end season.
Source says surgery probably best to make sure of no future problems - as opposed to letting heal naturally. Doc will provide his opinion.
Most importantly, one source stresses: Regardless of surgery decision, Ronnie's injury "not anything major as far as career or long term."
Also, if you are curious, this looks to be the orthopedic surgeon that Ronnie will see in Charlotte, he's worked with the Packers and Panthers: http://www.orthocarolina.com/physician_directory/physician_detail.cfm/staff_id/53
