Good luck Mcnally and Houck!!

oh, come on guys. It was a sensible post. I mean really, it isn't that often we get a good post from their side of the world  so let's appreciate it :D
I do think our o-line will be better than last year, but nothing has been proven.... yet. Plus (God forbid), there is always the injury curse that can strike, and we already have been struck, albeit, to a small extent.
Maybe Kolbiss can be included with Clumpy and Justasportsfan as actual intelligent Jills fans.
Gracias :D

Don't see anything wrong with that post. Pretty true if you ask me. While Buffalo's line certainly sucked last year, I believe wholeheartedly the we had the worst line in the entire NFL. Early in the year, every other play seemed like a prison break. It wouldn't just be one guy, but 2 or 3 running free at our QB. It was like how you let the D lineman go when you're running a screen pass except we weren't running screen passes. It was quite possibly the most frustrating football I've watched in my life (with the possible exception of our D during the Olivadotti era-- oh the horror!)

Now with Saban, Linehan, and HH in control, I at least feel like we'll be prepared. Bringing in Stockar, working with Carey, and now hopefully getting some new blood at C and G, I'm pretty excited. If our line is even average, the improvement would be huge. We may suprise people, but I wouldn't expect non phin fans or the media at large to predict it. Let's hope HH has us ready! Go Phins!!!

Yea of all scums of the universe, Clumpy and Justasportsfan are some of the better scum. Kind of like the scum you find on the bottem of your shoe. Relativley harmless and easily brushed off with a rag.

It is nice to see intelligent Buffalo fans on here, because they usually post with some sort of realism when it comes to Miami. I just don't get it though, why would you ever visit another team's site? I don't think I would ever go to a Jets or Bills site. Hey SF Dolfan, I am heading to San Fran next week for a nine day vacay....anything I HAVE to see or do while I am there. We are planning for Napa, Sonoma, and Carmelle.

Someone has a lot of growing up to do . :D

I think we needed the help after several dysmal years of coaching. I am not sure the players on the o-line are terrible, but the schemes they were suppossed to employ definitely were. Both of us needed the help and finally got it.

I really didnt think there was any way this thread could have been portrayed as smack,....but Oh well!

I hate the phins for the mere fact that they are division rivals, the same way you all hate the Bills. I do however have respect for players like Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Seau and others. I also have respect for Wayne H, and Saban. Bottom line, is i love the Bills and I love football. There is no team more important to me to follow than the Dolphins. There making very good improvements on the field and off, and I know they will be a good team for a long time. That said, I aslo feel the Bills have a very bright future, and i look forward to watching them fight the phins each year for the division.......BACK TO THE TOPIC. I trust Mcnally a ton, but I am very nervous about our line. I still think that the phins o-line is not good, but I will concede that they have improved while the Bills have not. :peace:

One thing the Bills o-line does show is how much a good runningback can help the offense.

One thing to keep in mind, anytime you create a thread or a post even, since you are a Bill fan someone will talk a little smack to you. It is the nature of the beast. There are a LOT of people on this site.

"think before you post" is good advice, but it's lost on people who choose to react without thinking. it's really mind-boggling how low the level of discourse has slid. i thought your intentions were quite clear in your initial post.

Actually it was the coaching. Our Ol didn't start to gel until mid-season. Willis was solid but not 100%. Our OL went from the worst in 2003 to decent in 2004. Drew was upright and still couldn't do crap. This is why you guys should eventually have a decent OL but it doesn't happen overnight. Houck will make sure of that.

I actually have a question or two about your OLine.....

1. what in the world happen to Big Mike from Texas? Is he like the starting RG or something. I thought he was the next Willie Roaf.

2. Who's going to be your LT after you lost yours in Fa to SF?
BTW, he was good but SF way overpaid. I hope you guys (the fans) don't think management screwed up on that one (unless you had a chance to sign him before FA for a lot less).

very true

You know....I can understand slamming a poster for starting a thread that is totally senseless, especially a Bills fan, especially especially a Jets fan but the guy who started this one didn't post anything horrible. Granted it wasnt' that great of a thread idea but I 've certainly seen much worse from our own Dolphin posters. He didn't need to be lit into on this one.

but...the one great thing about the board....poster blocking. man does it come in handy.
;)

I do not want this card carrying, flag waving Bills fan on my site. If he insists on swimming with the sharks, and comparing his perrenial LOSERS to my beloved Dolphins than he reaps what he sows. My attack was not personal, I was simply expressing my opinion about his team. I do not wish him any harm, but I do have a right to eat his posts alive as he has put himself in harms way. I do not go on the Bills fans site, and I never would. I could care less about them and as I have already expressed, I look forward to the day the Bills are out of the NFL! In the meantime I think it is my responsibility as a Dolphin fan to go after a Bills fan postings the same way I would go after a Jets fan or Patriots fan postings. I want this guy to feel right at home with his bethren. Its not personal, but it aint gonna be free for him to post his UNWELCOMED opinion on the Dolphin site!

Big Mike (right tackle/natural position) is starting to come around. he played pretty good last year and would probbaly start on any team...That said, he has definetley NOT lived up to the hype!

Losing Jonas sucked!!! As of right now we have Mike Gandy:shakeno: or Jason Peters:cry: . I am glad we did not pay jonas that much, but I do wish we cuold have kept him.

Out left tackle situation is BAD!!
