Good luck with the hurricane guys

i'm in tampa...it's kinda windy and raining a little.

i'm enjoying it. windows open...sleeping on the couch tonight.

The part I hate is the no electricity. We were out 10 days here with Katrina and 3 weeks for cable/internet. At least we still have a house though.

I'm taking the same angle.
Got my dolphins fold out tailgating chair on my pool deck with a couple of brews and enjoying the show.

You guys are going to get hit a little harder over on the west side so keep your wits about you!

Aint that the truth. The hurricane is bad enough, but not having power is by far the worst of it. I went 7 days without power after Frances and i was about to lose it at that point. I can only imagine how 10 days felt. Hopefully, it wont be that long after this storm.

Are you kidding? After Francis I was out for 15 days because FPL fixed everyone else on the street, blew the transformer for us and two other houses and they forgot about us:shakeno:

You have to bite the bullet and buy a generator if you live down here man. They are expensive but WELL worth the investment.

Good luck with the hurricane everyone.

Also, the Dolphins are still in the race for the AFC East. :)

At least you wont have August temps to deal with, it was hot as hell up here.

Yeah, we're pretty lucky that a cold front is following Wilma and temps are predicted to be in the 50's. :D

When Katrina hit us and knocked out the power though we had no such break, it was hot as hell here as well.

Brutha try going without electric for three months, which is what we had to put up with from Andrew in 92.

No electric, bad water. We had to sweat our butts off every night, and take baths in lakes. Talk about roughin it.

Amen to having a house left. But dang, Katrina left quite a lot of folk here in Southwest Dade County without power for over 10 days, and it was only a strong Cat 1 at that time.
