Good manning news. Hopefully true

i think its true maybe dolphins are number 1 on his list but hes just gonna weigh his options and see what denver, arizona and maybe titans are talking about

No surprise, why shouldn't Manning at least have a meeting with the Dolphin, unless we are pull out. And no report has indicated that.

It would be rude not to at least interview for the home town team that wants you. Peyton would not do that to his buddy Marino.
I don't believe.

This is classic business. Miami will over offer by 10 million what they planned because of his 95% sure to sign with Denver scam.

This was always a driving price issue. Miami is where he lives, it's where Wayne wants to go and it's were his wife enjoys living.

Im thinking Manning doesnt want to deal with new HC and denver can offer more money and FA buddies. I dont even understand why Arizona is in it. cap dead.

This. Seriously feels like this is all being manipulated to drive up price.

Miami doesnt even have 10 million to offer right now. We are $13 million under the salary cap, and we need about $6-7 million to sign our draft picks if we stay at pick #8. That leave us $7 million to sign Manning, and we have done nothing to free up any cap space in this race for Manning. If we seriously wanted to make a push for Manning, we would have restructured some contracts by now, or released a few players, but none of that has happened. Face it ladies, we never really intended to make Manning a serious offer - which is a good thing imo.

Well if you think that way we have no way to sign Flynn either than.

We could still sign Flynn. Low base salary with a bigger signing bonus that is spread out through several years. But I also dont think we sign Flynn. I think we get our QB in the draft.

I've never seen so much denial. It's like the pathetic guy who tells all of his friends that "she talks to me all the time and tells me she really wants to be with me". Then he shows up to the party and finds out she's screwed every guy at the party except for him. And he STILL thinks that's a sign that he's the one she really wants.

I'll be glad when this latest train wreck has concluded.

Flynn is the guy. He has been since we hired Philbin.

Lets hope they have a plan for a qb and it works, because if their plan is Manning they have a funny way of going about it. I'm sure their is plenty we don't know, but form whats being reported it doesn't look like they are in any rush to get it done. Things do change fast though.
