Because we our in such a weak division along with a couple other easy games, our Opponents win% is low. This means that for example we finish the season tied with a 6-10 record along with a couple other teams, we will likely select ahead of them. The funny thing is we played tougher teams than it looks. We played the Jets when they had Pennington, the Bills when Holcomb started his first game, and the Bucs when they had Griese. So we are selecting higher than we should.:D

As of right now we draft number #9 in the draft (Great position for Winston), We are drafting ahead of the Browns and Raiders even though they are also 3-6. Their are seven teams with a 2-7 record and if any of them win 1 game we jump ahead of them.

Teams to look out for: Rams and Bills, they might not draft behind us because they also have a weak schedule.

I know some people will say "The season's only have way done!" I know, I know. But we have to keep building through the draft, we're not going anywhere this season with Gus and an aging defense. So I don't want the Phins to finish 8-8, 9-7 and just miss out on the playoffs and get the last pick of all non playoff teams. The youth on this team is severly depleted because of the wannspiel era and the poor drafts/traded draft picks. This is the rebirth of the franchise and high draft picks will help Saban land more great talent like Ronnie B.

agreed fully .... per my "purge" thread... the more draft picks, the better...

the hell with the draft enjoy the season while it lasts because it is very short. its really absurd to be talking about the draft this time of the year.

I couldn't agree more, lets just enjoy the rest of this season first. we can reflect on the season then. Who knows what may happen between now and then. our best O Lineman may be shot, we may trade some of our best players, Wanny may come back as O line coach, Ray Finkle may be the kicker and Ronnie may go on holiday to the far east to find himself :)

Bills are not a bad team. They will not be drafting in the top 10.

i see... so we, as fans, should just talk about fun and togetherness and appreciation here? not discuss the future, which is the focal point of this 3-6 team?...

who said anything about togerthness and appreciation? is ther ea need to talk about if we lose the rest of our games we'll have the #3 pick or maybe we should try and win just 2 more so we can get the #6 pick, cmon its really a waste of time to talk about it now. wait till we know when were picking when the seasons over.

Well hopefully we knock off the Browns, Raiders, and Bills in the coming weeks and put this issue to rest till the seasons end

For future reference, do all topics need to be approved by you? Just want to make sure I don't screw up like this guy did.

if you feel the need to run it by me thats fine. all joking aside guys this is my last post , i'm not wasting my time anymore on imaginary draft threads.

I just want a quality QB out of this draft. If we don't draft a QB in the 1st, get someone in the second. Whitehurst has some potential and I think he will be available in the 2nd-3rd round. If we end up with a Top 5 pick, Leinart or Young.
