The good news is Tennessee and Houston are the next two teams on the schedule.

The bad news is we are on the road against NE and the Jets after that.

The good news is we get GB after the Jets. The bad news is we play Chicago after the bye week. Chicago=Getting our sorry ***** thumped.

The best we can realistically expect going into the bye week is to be 4-3. We will not win at New England. No way, no how. 4-3 would be great considering how bad we've stunk this season.

A more likely scenario is that we'll be 3-4 and then quickly 3-5 after we play Chicago.

And remember, we just go manhandled by a bad Buffalo team. We have to make plenty of improvements or we'll be 2-5 quickly to go to 2-6.

In any case, playing Tennessee and Houston couldnt come any sooner. If we lose to either one of them, we are seriously one of the worst teams to play in this league in many years, and we'll be battling for the first pick in the draft.

And maybe thats not such a bad thing. That would suck now, but in April that would be VERY good news.

Oh well, lets hope for the best against Tennessee.

Isn't that what we said about us playing the Bills? This stuff is getting old man. I have only seen like 2 or 3 posters who still have the faith. It's too bad.:boohoo:

If we do lose to the Titans and/or Texans and wind up with a losing season, I would implement your Scorched Earth plan and trade every freaking player we can get a pick for, except for Chambers, McMichael, Brown, Channing Crowder and Donnie Jones.

When it comes to the NFL, faith is for suckers. Loyalty is admirable, but faith is for people who lack objectivity.

I wonder if the titans are also calling you guys good news?

Possibly. If I were a player on the Titans, I'd be grasping at any bit of optimism I could at this point.

I have shown more loyality to the Miami Dolphins for the better part of my life, then I have with any thing else. I loved basketball growing up and was an all conference player my senior year last year. I was in a 6th grade basketball league when we played the Jaguars in the '99 playoffs. I skipped my game to stay home and watch the Dolphins that Saturday. (Looking back, I would've been better off going to the game.) The truth is, the Dolphins are my life  and I will never give up on them.

Oh Gosh, I dunno...my mom died back in May (dad died 3 years ago), I just turned 40, my daughter just started preschool, my son has entered his indolent, rebellious stage, I test for my black belt in five months, I just dropped two grand into trimming a huge live oak in my front yard and I think I am just about ready for my mid-life crisis. How you doing?

No offense, but are you bipolar??? Your last thread ripped the dolphins, claimed the sky has fallen and we need to abandon ship. "we suck, we're the worst team, Saban should be fired right now, etc..." Now we might have a winning record by the bye week? What's that all about? Meds finaly kick in:D ???
