Good News Dolfans: Front Office people have started looking for new jobs.

Jeff is in our FO. I wouldn't be surprised if he was kept and plays a part in landing the new HC like he did when chasing Harbaugh. We need to clean house.

If Ireland Managed Wendy's all the employees would be 300lb Offensive Lineman who previously lived in Dallas

Ireland: Hi! May I take your order?

Customer: Yes, I'd like a side salad with fat free dressing and a diet coke.

Ireland: Ok, so I have two double cheeseburgers, two small fries and two small frosties. Will that be all?

Customer: What? No. That's not what I ordered. I want a side salad and a diet coke!

Ireland: I understand, sir, but these items are of better value and if you just give them time to develop, I believe you will be pleased.

Customer: What the hell is your problem???

Ireland: Well maybe if your momma wasn't a hooker, I wouldn't have a problem...SNAP!

Customer: That's it!! I'm gonna smash your face in!!!

Ireland: Yeah, right. I played football. I was a kicker, *****!

(Customer proceeds to beat Ireland to a pulp and then stuffs him in the ladies room toilet
)
Didn't know he was a kicker till you made this post. Researched him on wiki, he was known for missing the easy ones and losing games. It explains why this FO gets excite over field goals made.

Bill Cowher wouldn't talk to the Dolphins in January because Sparano was still employed. Not buying this report that he is talking with them now. Not yet at least.

He did speak with the Dolphins in January. Cowher wanted Ireland out and Ross wasn't willing to do that.

Nothing has changed on that front. Not sure why he would talk to Miami again until that part changes. Not saying Miami won't talk with him, he is my #1 choice, but I think it is a little early for these types of rumors.

Don't you know by now Nub that it's never too early to run rampant with a rumor on here? We should change the name of the site to SpeculationOverreactHeaven.com

this was pretty funny.......

I can see him behind the register going, "Hello, welcome to Wendy's. Would you like a free frostee and oh by the way is your mother a prostitute?"

You know in hindsight the dude should have been canned right then & there on the spot. If he would have asked 90% of the public that question he would have got the Sugar Ray sucker punch between the eyes.

Tells you something about his Bosses that they did the wink & nod instead of kicking him to the curb.

I agree. It's also very early in the season still. I don't see Ross acting like a desperate man. I also see him having learned his lesson after the Harbaugh debacle. Interesting to note that he mentioned "indirect" conversations. That is so open ended, based on heresay and speculation, it's hard to take seriously. The ONLY way I see "indirect" conversation going on is if Dan and Bill have a conversation while working at CBS.

The report you shouldn't be buying is that Bill Cowher wouldn't talk to the Dolphins because Sparano was still employed. That was just a rumor from one source, think it was Armando or one of the other people that kept printing horribly inaccurate reports during that period of the Harbaugh meeting and whatnot. Jeff Darlington did the most fact-based reporting during that period and he said that the Dolphins reached out to Cowher through Peterson and Cowher refused them just because he wanted to wait another year.

That's another rumor that was out there that I don't believe. If that were true, Bill Cowher would be coaching somewhere right now. I very much doubt that ALL of the available HC jobs this off season would have been sticklers about keeping their own GM on hand if Bill Cowher would have come aboard. That includes the Panthers, the team Cowher has long been rumored to want to coach since it's so close to home.

If this is true Ross potentially hand-cuffed Sparano and maybe Ireland with the bottom dollar seeing that Cowher might come on the following year, so TS gets the ext. but is still a lame duck coach - And I dont believe for a second that TS has the room after what he let transpire last season between Henning, Henne and the Receivers.

Still remember the footgage from our last win where no one but VD and Long stood anywhere near TS during the locker room post game bravado speach

I thought Week 17 pretty much screamed in as loud a voice as possible, "WE DO NOT BUY IN ANYMORE"

For the life of me I have no idea why so many people took such a blind eye to that.

People don't like to flip coaches and start fresh but like a few I saw TS retention and ext. with a different perspective, Columbo at RT was a curious move, and the spending itself was very spotty - I see this season as laying a framework for bringing in a new Coach, potentially GM and to draft a QB who will be the face of the franchise. We have a solid LT and C in a divison that you just have to have a wicked C and some other nice pieces on O for a young QB
