We finally get to play a home game on a fully sodded football field. No more half baseball, half football, fully crap field. Real lines, Dolphins logos painted on the grass, the works. It may have taken seven weeks for this to happen, but we now have a great field in which to play for our truly fans. :D

Too bad their will be 30,000+ no-shows:boohoo:

That is really going to make the people in the Miami area look bad if there are 30,000 no-shows. Miami should be glad to have an NFL franchise.

I think the Dolphins management ought to start letting people into the game for FREE a little at a time by the 2nd quarter just to piss off the "fair weather fans" who think they are somehow protesting the team by not showing up after they've already paid for their tickets. Like the rest of the teams in the NFL, we need stadiums FULL of people making lots of noise. We need that "12th man" on the field every home game regardless of our record.

These fair weather fans that horde their tickets just ticks me off. They should at least TRY to sell them on eBay or something. People will start changing their plans for Sundays about going to the game once the tickets get cheap enough. Getting tickets for a family of 4 for $50 will probably get a bunch of people over to Dolphins Stadium.

Disagree. I think by letting in people for free you actually piss off the people who are there and paid for their tickets.

we wouldn't have this problem if the team was worth a crap. winning cures all.

If I lived in the Miami area, I'd be there. Being in Colorado, it's a looooong drive. I would love to be there this weekend, Brett Favre in town. He may be past his prime, but he's still Brett Favre.

All thought BF is a future HoF, I'd like nothing short of him going 22 for 65, 0 TD's, 4 Int's, 134 Yd's, and of course 9 sacks.

:sidelol: for what team? not this one, do you remember our playoff game against the Colts in 2001 i believe stadium didn't sell out so the game got blacked out. it doesn't matter if were 1-5 or 4-3 right now there would still be thousands of empty seats. miami has to has one of the worse fan base in the league. i wish that i could see our 1-5 play this week but NC is 13 hrs away.

I just want to see a packed stadium one way or another. I think it's embarrassing to the team and the Miami area. I'd prefer to see the people who don't plan to go to just GIVE their tickets away if they can't sell them. They should just go to the nearest high school and give them to the high school football players.

Either that or just go to the nearest sports bar and try to sell them dirt cheap or something ... who cares? They might as well get SOME money for them since they're already paid for. At times like this, you kind of like the scalpers. I bet plenty of people could just show up at Dolphin Stadium and get their tickets cheap ... sometimes the scalpers might even give them to you free at halftime.

I remember that, I also remember that the ESPN crew doing the game (Joe, Mike, and Paul). One of the comments made by them was that the fact that the Dolphins were always in the playoffs and that the first round was just another game here for the fans in Miami.

The game did sell out, (corporate USA), not the fans bought the rest of the tickets. If I remember right??:boohoo:

I'am just looking at the past history:(
I really hope the staduim is full and the fans do come out and support a team that is struggling. The team needs to know that the fans are behind them.:D

The guy I sold my tickets to will be there. That's becasue he is a Huge Packer fan and has a business in St. Pete, so he can fly down and mix business with pleasure.

By the way have you seen how many tickets to Fins games there are? I tried to sell my Bills tickets on E-Bay and got nothing. When I tried to give them away in VIP I got two resonses for them, you cannot even give them away.

I have to ask. Do Jacksonville and Tampa Bay have the same empty seats at their home games? or is it more a geographical problem regarding fan base down in Florida?

Me to...heck even if I lived anywhere in the state of Florida I'd have season tickets and go to every game...
