Our 5 Biggest needs (in no particular order)
OL
QB
DT
LB
CB

Fill In The Blanks
OL Levi Brown
Qb-Maybe Brady Quinn?
DT- Okoye
LB- Willis or Podulsky
CB-Leon Hall

This pick can go no wrong unless we draft a player (Jason Allen)and shortly afterwards say "Who The Hell Is That" and still till this day say "Who The Hell Is That"

We don't need a DT or a CB. An improved secondary would be great and that is possible through FA's but as a DT, ther is nothing stopping us from resigning the a couple of the guys who played great for us last year or giving the younger guys we have a shot. We have 4 young DT's 5 if you count Fifita who we just brought back a couple days ago. DT isn't a need. OLB and LT are glaring needs, huge needs. And what about are pitiful offense!! Something should try to be done there.

Personally, I would hope they pickup someone for the offense, I don't care if it's a WR, OL or QB. If defense is going to be the option then I hope they get a DE, LB or one of the two best safeties coming out (Landry or Nelson). I think Miami is already set at DT with Evans, R.Wright and Manny Wright(if he comes back) who should be given the opportunity to show what they can do.
The jury is still out in my opinion on Jason Allen. Maybe Cameron will give him more playing time and we'll know if he really is a wasted pick.

I'd go with offense with the first pick, 3rd best defense last season might drop to 5,6 i can live with that. The offense however is a mess so wr, QB(especially) and OL.
But if we have to reach a bit however to get an offensive player jus pick up the most talented player....Reggie Nelson....cough cough..

How is it that we don't need a cornerback? Am I missing something or were Will Allen, Andre Goodman and Travis Daniels awful last year? I hope that we don't take Leon Hall, but cornerback needs to be addressed somewhere, preferably in free agency and hopefully its Asante Samuel.

...sorry, I struck my head as I was falling down, but did someone say we don't need a cornerback?

I'm not trying to be funny or mean here, but was last year the first time you followed the draft? That would be the only way that someone could possibly not know who Jason Allen was.

Here we go...another "we dont need a WR" guy again...:shakeno:

We don't need a DT, however, we do need WRs and a backup RB (RW isn't going to be around forever).

somebody will fall and we will take that player. maybe Quinn or Adams or Jarrett or Anderson, #9 is a good position to pick from

I agree with that. Evans, Wright, Wright, Vickerson- questions for sure, but I don't see how DT is a glaring need when so many other positions are desperate for new talent. Levi Brown or one of the WR's would be my choice. If we go D my best guess is Gaines Adams.

It's the Chambers Effect- thinking that we don't need a stud WR because one is blinded and deluded by Chambers' ability and potential, not focusing on his lack of production, drops, and mental errors.
