<A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/162">Mark Curnutte, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports the Cincinnati Bengals focus on a backup quarterback appears to be zeroed in on free agent QB Tommy Maddox (Steelers).

good news...i would say our best bet is to bring in collins or harrington those guys would be great backups

Personally I would love to have McMahon. With his mobility the offense wouldn't change whether he or D Pep is in. Harrington would be more than solid too. Although, i see mcmahon being nore comfortable w/ backup role.

Here we go again with the back up QB talk.........there is a thing called the draft, we select Omar Jacobs. Save the money to add to Lavar Arrington and we have a linebacker and a good rookie backup.:eek:

if we're going to make a move it better be soon...from what i've heard/read, the Chiefs are in hot pursuit of Harrington, and Denver & Minnesota have already shown interest in McMahon...as far as Collins goes, I haven't heard anything but it would make sense that Baltimore may be interested in him given his ties to Fassel and may want him there to compete with Boller for the starting position...who knows...

btw I too am big on Jacobs in the draft...

The Associated Press reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/6/nfl">Arizona Cardinals vice president for player personnel Rod Graves said the Cardinals have spoken with agent David Dunn about his client, free agent QB Kerry Collins (Raiders). Graves said the team will look at their draft possibilities and compare them to Collins and Detroit Lions QB Joey Harrington, who the team also has some interest in.
