With the re-signing of our better players, then letting the more non-consistent older players leave, coupled with the signing of G wilson who i think creates the nastiest pair of safetys in the league (moss will not go across middle against us:boohoo:) , I believe so far as been good off-season.

Wld like to see at least one maybe two veteran CB for right money come in such as L Bodden, J greer, Mcfadden or Drayton Florence and turn it into what i think would be great offseason...........so far.

Coupled with signings such as Carpenter and Burnett and hopefully ILB, DT, CB and physical WR with first 4 picks I think this would be the ideal offseason for the trifecta and really push us deep into playoff hunt.

The teams who make the playoff hunt always seem to have great depth and no excuses when big players get injured. I believe this is what the trifecta is moulding and lookin at depth of whole squad bar at moment the secondary i think we are set for strong 09.

you cannot always rely on draft picks to make an immediate difference their first year, and our secondary is suspect at corner right now, so i think there is still some work to be done in free agency

good post norm. good points. the folks here who are freaking out cause we didnt bust our wad all over, need to check themselves. lets take a quick look here. how much difference, in the grand scheme will haynes make to the skins? im sure hell have an impact. but the titans have a way better defense than the skins, but even with haynes they still lost to the ravens, at home. we are building something here. the fecta has a design in mind. they are following it. so when there is a fa, who fits there scheme, they make the move. wilson is versitile, has played both free and strong. hes tough, strong has better ball skills than bell and didnt cost us the farm. then we brought in a little depth. now we are waiting for the draft. there we will continue to build this young and getting younger football team.

cheers satale - I also wanted to make the point that i was glad we did not sign J Brown and hope that the trifecta give Satale the oppurtunity to put on muscle in offseason and compete for starting C/G.

I wld also like to see signing of another FB, either L neal. L weaver or poss low draft pick.

Think L weaver cld be similar not so gd runner but better blocker than Mclain form Ravens.

But trust the trifecta and if they belv Polite is gd enough im happy to go with them

i agree with you on secondary, im sure that is what the post is about.....

I think it is a reasonable risk to go with a talented rookie when you have two good safeties. There is no reason to panic. If there is a deal on a veteran CB, then we should make it. I do not want to sign a CB just because we believe we desperately need someone, anyone.

No more stinking ex-cowboys. We milked that cow for all it was worth.

Berger isn't the answer either.

I agree, would like to see young CB taken in first two rounds..........but also believe the trifecta have more faith in J Allen than most fans do.

I think Berger may be the answer... for quality depth. With the injuries we had this year at guard, we went deeper than we had the talent to cover.

i do believe the trifecta is building a squad with great depth, with personel challenging for all positions, big nasty O line men cometing for one spot snd like a competetive camp which is always good. Big year i predict from Samson Satale and on another note Matt Roth.
