He means Yeremiah Bell, probably didn't have that spelling in the 'ole spell checker, heh. :D
I really thought it was a good assessment of what we have and what we need. I am less optimistic about the players he's suggesting in the draft, but for what we have, it's pretty good. Like most writers I think he's a bit optimistic on many of our FA pickups, but hey, the offseason is the season of hope, not reality.
I was super-excited when he mentioned a guy who I think is a potential super-sleeper to be had in round 6, 7 or undrafted ... Kroy Biermann. Don't know who he is? well he's 6'3 and about 240 lbs. and played in super-small school competition (Collegiate Championship) where he was the Player of the Year as a DE. He's obviously an LB in the pros if he makes it, and he's got the size and speed to play ILB the way Parcells & Co. like it to be played. He's instinctive and a real playmaker.
But he's never faced any real competition you say? Correct, but consider that he grew up in Montana, not exactly a hotbed of recruiting, and he went to his local school, Montana, so it's possible that this is one of those elite High School prospects that never got a look by the top schools, but he did produce at his level. Ahhh heck, it's been a while, I'm gonna post his highlight film for you. Notice it shows his development from a Freshman rush-end to a Senior monster. He has speed the entire time, gains a lot of weight and strength and maintains that speed. His hands are extremely fast too, and he doesn't give up on plays. If you watch this video and are unimpressed, I will be mightily surprised. Enjoy
Kroy Biermann (yes, cool name too).
