Damn some of u never have ANYTHING good to say about the team u want to WIN. Makes no f**kin sense. This close to Game 1 and fans are still bashing the phins. Someone wants a new QB. Another wants a new RB. Another wants a new oline. Damn when did MIA fans get so picky. Maybe the phins need new fans! Save me the what we should've and shouldn't have roster moves. This is the team we have f**kin deal with it. Either run with us or get ran over.

I think our team has the same issues as a lot of other teams, especially regarding the oline. There seems to be a shortage of quality players that have the physical talent for today's game. They have to be strong as an ox, yet be able to run decently quick, and have great flexibility to handle pass blocking. All of this from a guy that is 6'5" 300-330 lbs.
We have some good players with potential in the PS wings like Chisolm and Jones. Hopefully we will avoid serious injury on the oline, because it will make or break this season. To have the kind of depth that the dline enjoys, it is going to take another couple of years unless we make some trades. In the short term, Colombo will continue to be exposed. I think Carey will return to RT because we will have no other choice.
The RB situation is kind of hard to tell at this point. I think we will be passing the ball A LOT more than most think. We will be passing to set up the run. I this scenario, Thomas, Bush, and Hilliard can be effective. Where we might struggle is in obvious short yardage situations at goal lines or 3rd and short. Hopefully Clay/Hilliard can get the job done. Maybe we should let Solai run the ball on 3rd and short? He could move the pile ala the fridge when he gets up a head of steam! LOL

Best scenario for us on short yardage is 2nd and short. Run something up the gut, then PA. We dont have the horses on the line or the backfield to run short up the gut.

I agree, I like this team, we do have issues at a couple of positions as do every other team in the league, but this is the best team Miami has had in 10 yrs. I dont think how NE game goes is how are season goes....I want to see how we play over the next 4-5 weeks to get a good picture of what type of team we are. We are installing a new Offense with a new OC with only a month to get ready....not sure what to expect.....I am the only one on this board who thinks this OL will be a top OL by week 6 baring injuries......

We've been good since the franchise started. Since Dan the man retired we've had a hard time getting back on track. But the phins are far from being LOSERS. Let's not even mention all the top players in the league that came out of UM. Who is this guy? What ah clown. Once the phins get back on top and we earn our respect back haters like Oradeana will be the first to jump on the wagon. Continue hating for now though. Its the best kind of motivation like homie Reggie B. said.

I think people worry too damn much just enjoy the game win or lose.

after a win, i am just happy. after a loss, i give it a day and step back.

this year, i have less patience. if we lost 3 out of the first 4. we got problems. but as anyone can tell, im optimisitc.

And they bad mouth this FO for drafting Pouncey at 15 and bash about drafting a RT next year in first round as if that were a stupid move but here we are talkin bout RT problems. go figure. wolf pack.

Yes the bottom of our roster is much better than it was 3-4 years ago. The same can also be said about the top of it too. Just think guys. Four years ago every team on our schedule could pretty much pencil us in as a win. Now they can't do that. Win or lose they are all going to know they have played against a pretty solid physical team.

4 years ago, I would be watching the game praying for the random QB of the week to have a breakout game. Hoping for False Hope that we could get a win. If it was our team 4 years ago against the Patriots this year, I would turn off my cellphone for the next 3 days. Atleast now I'm thinking we can win this game, depending on how number 7 plays at QB.
