well we got some help today.
bengals and steelers lose. one will division but its good to keep their records down with afc losses.

jets lose. this could help us either way so it was a win either way.kind of puts the jets out of it. they are headed for destruction, love it.

broncos lose. chargers have the head to head against us so we need them to win division.

ravens lose.

jags win but we will take care of them in december

go titans on monday nite
 
I'm so surprised KC beat Pitt... but that is GREAT for us.. same with Indy taking care of baltimore...

In my opinion the pats are going to win the AFC east.. the thing is even if we beat them in 2 weeks, they still control their own destiny, and if they win out and we win out they win the division....

I'm thinking Miami has a good shot at a wildcard this year with a 10-6 record.. I can't see the pats losing more than 2 games the rest of the year, which would put them at 11-6...

if they lose 2, and we only lose 1, they still finish ahead of us in the afc east.

Wildcard is our best chance this year.. and it's gonna be a dogfight the whole way...

we either need to go 5-1 or 6-0, or we have no chance at the playoffs, 9-7 is obviously not gonna make it this year

Not of they lose in New Orleans next week. Then, if we beat NE, we have the tiebreak edge and it's a sprint to the finish.

I agree -- right now, the Pats still look good to win the division, but Miami has a legit shot at it.

They would be 11-5, but I understand your point. If we win the heads up and they lose one more they will finish 11-5. That means they lose to NO and us but win against Houston at Houston. They have some cake games at home but nothing is a gimme as today has proven. A lot of finger crossing is in store for us to make the playoffs. 8-8 is expected, but anything over that is awesome.

If Pats lose to NO or any other team and Miami wins out then Miami wins the division. It's a very very tough task for the Phins but that's how it stands right now. Miami would win the tie breaker due to a better division record.
 
as i stated before the only team that can get in our way if we tie is san diego. there are too many afc division and conference games between teams ahead of us. they play each other so its inevitable that these teams will lose games. this all hinges on us taking care of our own schedule like we did last year.

11-6 in a 16 game season...wow, that's some trick...

They would be 11-5 just like us, but we would win the division because we would have the better divison record.
 
next week games are:
nyg at denver. denver lost 4 in a row now. with orton hurt too
indy at houston. indy should roll but houston could win either way its good
jax at san fran. toss up
pitt at balt. win win
pats at saints. win win but go saints

after this schedule picture will be a lot better heading into week 13
 
Wild card is our best shot unless we can win out like we did last yr to win the division....not out of the question at least we know we have some important games in december. Just think two yrs ago this team had no talent, this yr we lose our starting QB for the season along with our #1 CB, our #1 running back, our #1 nose guard and games missed by our starting OL, OLB and ILb and we are playing better every week.....take a bow FO you have done a great job in two yrs getting talent on this team, we are deep.....someone goes down the next guy is ready to take over....
 
not so fast if the Fins and the Pats end up tied at the end of the regular season...OUR SAVING GRACE (TIEBREAKER EDGE) IS THE FACT THAT WE SWEPT THE JETS AND THEY SPLIT WITH THEM



one game at a time...this is a marathon not a sprint
