Boy I'm sure glad we didn't sign Ty Law in the off season. I remember we were considering signing him, good thing we didn't. We would be stuck paying someone that isn't performing much better than what we got. Well I guess he would do better than Reggie Howard but that's alright.

??? Have you seen him play this year? I did not want him, but he is playing very well. Please!

someone didnt watch the bucs jets game

ty law is doin pretty good this year man, w/ him and sammy as our corners and daniels as the nickelback, i think we would have a pretty good CB core if we would've signed him.

yea because the decreasing the cap room available by cutting Howard would really go far in signing Law.

We will cut Howard in the offseason and have Will Poole back. We will probably draft another CB in the 3rd/4th again and probably bring in a veteran again. Our CB situation will be fine and we won't have had to blow a load of money on Ty Law to do it. Remember building a team like that in one year is a good way to stay in cap hell.

Think about Poole, Daniels, Madison and another draft pick + veteran going. That gives competition to Madison plus a healthy rotation.

You have to temper the need with the cost...Howard is cheaper than Law...simple as that. And at the time, we still didn't know when or how he was going to recover from the plantar fascia tear...that is a serious injury for a DB...We'll see how he does...

As far as Howard goes...Saban knows his weakness and needs to not let it get exploited...next year will be different I'm sure.

Madison will be cut at the end of the year, I would be shock if he was kept. IMO, he is an average player making a huge salary.

He sorely needs it IMO. The guy has gotten complacent and dumb penalties are ridiculous.
