I didnt get to watch the game though i did listen to most of it. Wanted to see what people thought were some of the good things we did on Sunday.
How did Gadchaux (spelling?) play next to Suh?
Chase Allen seemed to hold his own minus a few misscommunications, am I wrong? Considering he was thrown into the lineup and i would assume had no 1st team reps the week before played well.
O line in general seemed to play well, highlights seem to show Cutler had time I do agree with some posters that the game plan was to protect the D with all that was going on with run game and short passes. If we figure out the LB situation prob will see it open up more. but 100 yards vs that D is a great sign for the O line.
Run D was good, I would say the pass rush stunk but Rivers is really good at getting rid of the ball with his quick release. And is like 1st or 2nd best QB year after year vs the blitz zo its not like you can bring extra guys every play.
Thrown into a bad situation with no game speed reps since probably week 3 of pre season which was what 24 days ago, so going up against a big time pass rush and D line that doesnt allow teams to stay balanced get a win luck or not we didnt give that game away liek in years past.
BIGGEST THING:
Adam Gase has mojo, I dont know what the deal is or how he has created this culture so quick but this team expects to win close games, on the road, in the snow, in a hurricane the W is all that matters everyone has bought in.
I am excited to see of some of our O-line guys who sat out (Smith, Asiata, Young) start gettign more reps and add depth or possible begin to show talent.
BIGGEST GRIPE:
Red Zone O. Gase addmitted he was rusty but did score everytime in the redzone just need more touchdowns.
So what do you think were the good things from our WIN on Sunday?
