Normally I think a later Bye week would help a team out the most by letting players get some rest for the "stretch Drive", but in our case I think it couldn't have come at a better time. If Saban can work out the little kinks this team has(pre snap penalties, secondary) this can be a intresting December.

I say Saban will end the December JInx

I would like to see all teams just take the same week off. That's the only fair way to do it, imo. Somewhere between weeks 8 and 10 seem like a better time for a bye.

Normally I would prefer a bye week around the 6th - 8th week of the season. But I agree that this year could be interesting if we get some of the minor issues worked out. I also hope we bring in some CB for a workout instead of sticking with Howard.

A football free weekend, then we can all take our wives out for day and make up for the first 8 weeks!

Only because of the Ricky situation, I would have been ok with the bye week in #5.

This would have given Ricky 2 full weeks of practice, but I think one will suffice.

It would kill me not to see any football, but that would be a good time to remind the wife that we know she's still there. :D

Luckily for me I turned my girlfriend (From NY, reformed Jets fan) into a Miami Dolphins junkie! She is even learning formations... Dang I'm lucky! She asked what are we going to do this weekend without Dolphins football... I told her we would watch teams that don't mean anything! :rofl3:

Because its Sabans 1st season an early bye week is quite handy but usually with our early season weather advantage i'd prefer it to be later

Thats the best answer you could come up with to that question?? :rofl3:

I told my wife i'd take this week off of football for her, she does'nt what a "bye " week is. Is that wrong or smart on my part?? ;)

I scheduled my sons Confirmatiom party for Sunday, and my wife gave me a strange look. Then I said the Fins have a bye, and she just smiled!
