Since theres not much else to talk about during these next few weeks, heres a link to a good interview with Mike Gesicki...it was done at Southern Regional HS in Manahawkin NJ...so stoked for him and Minkah whose from Old Bridge NJ...2 locals starting on the Fins, unreal

Thanks for posting this, interesting watch! The interviewer did a great job with research and questions. Very cool he has such high praise for Tannehill, seems like a really bright kid.

Good stuff. Thank you for sharing!
Gesicki seems to be a smart fella and I'm glad he doesn't shy away from speaking out about his blocking being something he wants to get better at. It's going to be great watching this guy develop over the next 4 years. I also think Durham Smythe will surprise many....as he is the TE who CAN block and his hands are not bad.

Seems bright, has the size/athleticism for sure....Could be one of our best 2nd round picks in a long time

What's it gonna be like when he turns the goalpost into his own personal dunk contest?

My guess is he puts up one between the legs dunk(something I'm not sure has been done before) and it's all aboard...

The tight end position was addressed significantly in this draft. Me being a Michigan state fan... I've seen Gesicki ball out. I don't remember our d focusing on him because of the running back Penn state had but he burned us none the less. And Michigan state secondary players are usually decent. I really pull for Lippett because he would be a really hidden gem. Was an amazing receiver, and it looks like he just knows how to find the ball. He got bullied when he was beat more than good footwork would beat him. Diamond in the rough there for sure imo... long story short, from a good outside look, Gesicki is a silent assassin. Also I'm in the Lippett corner, dude had some crazy Grimes like interceptions. But he's tall... so that's kinda cool, just needs to find him a .5 miko. Maybe .4 to be safe... keep him wanting to be at work

So happy to have 2 New Jersey talent to our beloved Dolphins. I lived in West Orange NJ all my life.

I'm very excited about Mike. In his rookie season, he might end up being the biggest lightning bolt this offense has had as a receiver since Chris Chambers. I can imagine his production panning out in a similar way. Chris was raw, but he ran a lot of go routes and other simple routes to take advantage of his athleticism. I imagine Gase will be giddy when Mike does a 9 route on a slow and/or undersized LB.

I was gonna wait til the last second to get those week 2 Jets tickets i might have to rethink with so many Fitzpatrick and Gesicki friends and family members likely to be in attendance. Should be a real take over game now.
