Goodell to punish 8 repeat offenders of personal conduct policy

Difference between B.Marsh and rest of the list is the word "arrested".

IMO, Haynesworth should be punished also, but we all know that he is now under the "protection" of the Kraft family.

The dumbest one on this list:

7. Oakland Raiders wide receiver Louis Murphy was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (viagra).

I think Goodell would be wrong to dole out punishment to someone who has a cognitive condition and he's being treated for it. Yes he's had trouble in the past, but he actually sought help and that's a step in the right direction. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Goodell tried to include Marshall in that category simply because he's in cahoots with the Patriots owner and taking away one of our best offensive weapons would be beneficial to Bellicheck and company

I have them listed because they are repeat offenders. I could definitely see Hubbard getting suspended or fined and just forgot to put him on my list.

They don't suspend first time DWI offenders. There is a certain level of hypocrisy when it comes to alcohol related offenses. I wonder why that is. Maybe it has to do with all those 20 dollar beers they sell in the stadiums and the enormous amount of revenue generated from beer ads on TV :D

As a young 'athlete' just being caught with viagra is punishment enough.

Marshall admitted that the incident started with him locking his wife in a closet so that she wouldn't leave him. And her face was cut and bruised. And the police found a loaded gun with blood on it. And according to Omar Kelly, Marshall's wound was a circular one, which would coincide with Marshall's claim that he fell on glass vase and that his wife didn't stab him. No charges were filed because neither party would cooperate with police. But, Marshall clearly had plenty of involvement in creating the situation. And given his ridiculous history with about a dozen domestic violence incidents, it would not surprise me in the least if the league disciplined him again.

MArshall was not arrested, he was in fact a victim. There's absolutely zero chance that he gets suspended. This is a non- issue..

I kinda liked Goodell at first, but he's really just a giant douche who applies his own rules inconsistantly and does a bunch of bull**** to spin things up.

First the thing with Vick and basically steering him to Philly was complete BS. He has no business getting involved in personel decisions like that of the clubs. If Vick wanted to sign with Buffalo or Cinci, Goodell was wrong to convince him otherwise. If he went further than just trying to convince the guy, then its even worse. A lot worse.

Hey, if he didnt want Vick going to Buffalo or Cinci, then he shouldnt have reinstated him into the league. What was the stipulation, youre reinstated but not a FA, you have to go to one of the clubs I select for you. Thats BULL****!!!

Then this BS with Pryor. Goodell stated that Pryor "underminded the integrity of the supplemental draft rules". Well if that were the case and he wasnt really eligible, then why make him eligible. I will tell you why. Because Goodell again made a bargain with Pryor to do nothing more than to try and push some kind of twisted policy he would like to bring into play that would have ZERO chance of ever getting by a court when the players union steps in.

Goodell simply USED Pryor to try and make a precident for being able to suspend guys for NCAA violations. Thats total bull****. No way would a court ever let that slide. However, because he strongarmed Pryor and told him he would only be eligible for the supplemental draft if he agreed not to appeal this ruling(because if he appeals he would win. No court would allow that). This way, he sets some kind of president, hoping to sneak this by. But, even with this case there is no way in hell if he tries to make some policy with rules like that would the court allow it. The players union will not let that happen.

Its BS. What the **** do NCAA violations have to do with the NFL. NOTHING. If this were the case, how come Goodell didnt suspend Pete Carrol. He was allowed to just leave USC holding the bag and fly off to the NFL to make more money and face no penalties. Which he is of course allowed to do that. So shouldve Pryor. Only thing is, Pryor was technically not eligible for a supplemental draft. Goodell just let him in so he could impose that suspension on him without Pryor appealing. He held that **** over his head.

Im really starting to dislike Goodell. He is full of bull****. Watch him suspend certain players and not suspend a few that will raise eyebrows. This dude is crooked. He will twist any rule he can just to do what he thinks is better for the league. Steering a player to the Eagles. Unreal.

Also, snow angels are one of the most hellish things in the NFL. Clearly whats wrong with the sport. We should punish any player who tries to have fun while celebrating.

Oh Pacman Pacman, how far you have fallen since your days of mowing down dots.

not to mention he is a jets fan and he did nothing about braylon edwards but suspended ricky for a substance they could not divulge but was some substance found in herb supplements.

If Vick had gone to Cincy hed for sure be in jail again. I used to live there and didnt think it was THAT bad there, but they seem to have more arrests then any other team. Of course there is always the corrupt (Racist) cops there.

He didn't suspend Ronnie Brown either.

I have a hard time believing any suspension will withstand an appeal by the NFLPA. Goodell locked them out so they weren't his employee at the time of their respective incidents. The owners need to fire Goodell.

The bigger problem is not if Marshall will be suspended, the bigger problem is the NFLPA really f*cked up by leaving this big headed ego maniac with so much power.

FU Goodell!
