Watchin the game the past 2 weeks, is it me or has Andre Goodman been our most solid guy in the defensive backfield? Will Allen has had some stupid penalities and a few bad plays but Goodman hasnt been mentioned, which is good for a D-Back. What do you guys think?

Charlie BAtch was picking on him last week, but he seemed fairly solid yesterday. I don't its right to throw Will Allen under the bus either, that was a tuff play man and I love his presence on run support, he is a solid tackler. When we get TRavis back, I truly believe we have some capable guys at CB, not studs but guys who will be effecient as the season moves on.

I have to agree. Goodman looks like a good pickup for the price they paid for him. He is an aggressive tackler and has generally been in the right place on coverage. We gave him poop for money too.

Looks like a good pickup so far.

will allen seems like he keeps getting beat, ive heard about his blazing speed but he gets beat alot of the times ive seen him
hes pretty short too at 5'10
am i right?

add travis daniels to goodman and allen and we are ok with cornerbacks. what we really need on this defense is a hard hittin safety that can put fear in WRs.

*Insert Jason Allen*

I have not had much heartache looking at our secondary yet this season like I thought I would.....it's our offense that needs all the help it can get!

Will Allen was our best defensive back against Pittsburgh, and our worst against Buffalo. He got absolutely crushed downfield by Lee Evans and was forced to commit a penalty which put Buffalo in position to make some noise. Couple plays later, he gets beat on a double fake by Josh Reed, one of the most pathetic receivers in the NFL. All of a sudden we're down 10-0.

I do like Will Allen though, I mean, at least he's aggressive against the run. We haven't had a cornerback play the run this well since Pat Surtain. Somewhere down the line, hopefully a healthy Travis Daniels emerges as our best cornerback..

I thought Goodman played really well...
I agree..they started to go against Goodman in the beginning of the game and he did really well...then at the end they went toward Allen..honestly I think Goodman might be better then Allen...Goodman made some nice pass defenses yesterday..I was suprized how well he did after how poor he played in the steelers game.
