We will see these guys go at it tonight. Anybody think if we kept them in favor of Wilson we would be any better this year?

we should have resigned goodman, Hill, he had his moments, but was better than Wilson.. Im sure our record would be better had we kept them, but I like what we have in our rookies

It definitely would have helped to have both or just one of them come back, but we've got 2 rookies now that are getting solid game experience as starters (plus Clemons getting some playing time). Barring injuries I believe the secondary will be much improved next year.

We seemed to have secondary problems last year. So I begin to wonder if scheme is more of a problem than the players. Its only been a half year in Denver for these guys so it could change but they are impressive to this point.

How great is the talent of that secondary that they have to sign Ty Law?

I'm banking on scheme. The Broncos do a lot more up front assisting the secondary. We are to vanilla with our pass rush.

how would it had helped?

remember why they were let go? they were allowing
the same things that are going on now!

and if they were here, it would not be ANY different.

man! people sure have short memories around this place!

this defensive coaching staff we have is JUNK! first
time d-coordinator with several assistants doing there
positions for the first time. what do you expect?

i have been watching pro football for over 40 years now and
have NEVER seen a moore poorly orchestrated defense. i have
NEVER seen a "pro" team that CONSISTANTLY lets teams just
walk out and get into the endzone in 3-5 plays.

if it wasnt so sad it would be a HUGE laugh.

our offense isnt much better. the offense is moore of a
players thing than coaching, but its there fault for not
bringing in talented wr's this year. and they had MANY
chances to do it.

but, thats kind of the dolphins story over the last 10
years. miami players leave and become productive
players or even stars somewhere else.

or we sign cheap players hoping we can pay them the leauge
minimum and they will be pro bowlers.

the broncos have a good pass rush and a real good
scheme for there defense. thos e two players ARE
middle of the road talent. the difference now is they
have a good coaching staff.

I really like our rookies in the secondary...Vontae Davis, Chris Clemmons and Sean Smith are going to be great for years to come. These guys are gonna be as good or better than Surtain and Madison, just watch and see.

Someone seems a little grumpy.

And lets not forget V. Holliday I have seen a few Donkey games this year and he has been in the thick of it a lot!

We could be just as good with a consistent pass rush. Brady was behind backups and still had time to scratch his nuts and pick out a wedgie before bombing the ball.

our problem on defense is poor tackling an no pass rush...porter is washed up jt is 35 if there is no pass rush any qb in this leauge can look good well almost any...lol....our receivers are third rate, untill these things are solved we will continue to struggle.

We let Hill walk because he sucked and then opted for an "upgrade" who's even worse. You know something's wrong when even the Raiders know a guy isn't any good.
