Gordon Could Surprise.

Gordon could be good. Howard Could surprise and be great. Daniels could fill in and be amazing. Feeley could surprise. Crowder could be the defensive rookie of the year. I could be drafted by the dolphins in 2012.

....I could go on...

Gordon Is A Very Good Rb And If He Starts And Tears It Up Look Out Ricky Could Very Well Be On The Trading Block?

AAHHHHHHHHH. NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS RICKY WILL NOT BE TRADED THIS SEASON.

HE HAS NO VALUE.

do you think he will be traded though if Brown performs well for us and IF Ricky carries on playing past this coming season?

no, think about it. if you were any team in the NFl, what would you give up for Ricky "pothead, Quitter, Loser, doesnt-care-about-ootball-just-playing-for-money" Williams????

Possibly, but I hope he shows some dedication and gets enough carries to remind everyone of his skills. I just want the Dolphins to get something if they trade him. I'd be really pissed if we trade him for anything less than a 3rd which I would still be pretty pissed about. I just want equal value. Ricky Williams is a ******** without a doubt. However, even an unmotivated (remember the articles about 2003) Ricky with a piss poor offensive line is good for 1400 yards. Some RB's can't do that under much better circimctances.

Sometimes I read this forum and I feel like some people forget how good this guy really is. He's not going to have any trouble getting back up to his playing weight by week 6 (which is the first week he can actually play) and will probably be the most well rested he's ever been. I hate what he has done to the team but IF this guy has his head on straight (which I know is a huge IF) he is still probably the best RB on our team.

Ronnie Brown is a much more versatile player. Many scouts said he had the best hands in the draft and they just didn't mean RB's, they meant period.

If by week 6 Ricky is the main ball carrier the fins can line up Ronnie Brown all over the place. Between him, Ricky, Chambers, Booker possibly Boston (I don't have a lot of faith in him) and the wife beater with a little bit of blocking our offense could be entertaining to say the least.

It's still early and injuries, like it always does can ruin this very quickly. I'm looking forward to the season but that's not saying much becuase I always am. Win or lose I just enjoy watching Dolphin football.

One other thing Ricky Williams may very well just be playing for money in 2005 but I find don't think that will effect his effort at all. He's a lot of things but I don't think he is stupid enough to risk serious injury which could come from half assing it. He is a very competitive guy when he's on the field and that side of him will take over.

If it doesn't I'm sure his contract will be written in a way where he wouldn't get paid that much anyway.

I find it funny that with one head line about Gordon being in great shape - now Ricky is trade bait. Please let training camp get started so we can see whats for real.

Where has anyone seen Gordon perform really well? In college? He really didnt play much with the Rams and he was awful in the very short time here. Im not hating on the guy but where do people get this stuff about him being really good? Never seen it. I hope the guy rips it up and plays great, Im rooting for him but lets not get crazy here, he's never done anything in the Pro's to get excited about.

in the few games i saw i was impressed by the guy. is he gonna be priest holmes. no. but he's good the way lamont jordan is good.
