It's beginning to feel that Lamar Gordon won't be a big part of our success this season. What round pick do you think we could get for him. Someone is probably going to need a back between now and the start of the regular season due to some kind of injury.

My feeling is that we could get a 5th, maybe 4th round pick for him but that is probably a reach.
 
Not even a 7th rounder. We got ripped. No one wants Lamar Gordan, to say we could even get a 7th is unrealistic.
 
maybe a 4th... his trade value diminishes because of his value to us, its not just about talent.

we have 6 RBs on the roster... Ronnie, Ricky, Sammy, KayJay, Travis and Lamar. Consequently I cant see a team giving up too much for a guy that is going to contribute very little and could actually get cut. I think Lamar is probably #4 on the depth chart right now, maybe even #5.
 
All anybody has to do is look at our roster, specifically our RB situation, to realize that somebody is going to be cut, either minor, or gordan, maybe both, why give up a draft pick when they can get this guy for cash only? The only way somebody gives us a pick is if they are worried about a bidding war on the open market, and then I doubt we get higher than a 6th.
 
Depends did anyone hire Speilman as their Gm? If so a 3rd if not nothing.

I was dumb enough to trade away a second rounder in my keeper league for him last year..so..now I have no second round pick this year!! Dooogh!!

We need at least a second rounder to make up for my dumb dumb. Or a hamburger sounds good also. :)

we can't get anything for him at this time. Teams wait until you cut the players. Especially runningbacks. Other teams see the same situation the fans see in Miami. A glut at RB, they know the turk is coming to get someone. When the cut is made teams will simply pick up the disregarded players. Same goes for Miami with the secondary. Miami will wait until the first cuts come and evaluate the players cut. If anyone is better than players we have on our roster, in the eyes of the coaching staff, they will simply pick them up.

I think we could get someone to make that a combo with fries and a drink......heck someone might look at his days with the rams and Biggie size the damn thing.

Thats sad that you made a worse deal than wanny/speilman. :lol:
