Meanwhile, Kerryon Johnson had 19. By himself. For nigh into 150 yards.

10 carries for Gore, 6 for Drake. Total.

Anybody who thinks Gase can call a game is a fool.

I’m starting to doubt he survives 2018. If he does, woe to us.

16 carries. Jesus wept.

We were trailing all game long and the running game wasn't working. I agree that Gase's play-calling can be problematic at times, but there's a reason why we weren't balanced on offense today.

Gotta agree here, Kerryon lit us the **** up.

Lions planned to stop the run and did a great job at it, aside from Drakes ****ing miracle run.

We got wide nined. We got behind more than 2 score and ahd to throw.

Brock lobster wasnt going to bring us back. Honestly, unless Falk is a cinderella ****ing story, waiting for the fairy ****ing godmother to wave her ****ing wand at himm we dont have a dude that can put the team on his shoulders and bring us back frooom something like that.

But yea, Id have loved to see us run the ball more. Just wasnt in the cards tday

Burke needs to get this defense in MUCH better shape. They've been successful despite being fundamentally poor. They're making a living on great interceptions and tough red zone play. Today against the Lions the defense failed all day. We gave up some of the easiest big plays you'll ever see. We have too much talent on D to come out at home and get beat up like that.

The D forced 1 stop all day. Amazingly awful!!!!!!!!!!

It was pointless. Seeing that Miami was giving up an average of 8 yards per play, nothing the offense did or didn't do mattered much. Plus this offense has a 20 % chance or less of converting a 3rd and 7 or more so if they lean on the running game it won't be long before the drive stalls anyway. The telling moment was when Miami got called for holding and and the Lions had a choice between making it 2nd and 17 or declining and making it 3rd and 7. About 90% of the time a coach is going to push the offense back and make it 2nd and 17 but the Lions knew Miami had slim chance of converting 7 yards so they declined. That and the lions getting 26 yards on a first and 25 drained any confidence that I had in the team today.
