The San Francisco Chronicle agrees with beat writer Matt Maiocco that Frank Gore (ankle) is unlikely to play Sunday.

He's still officially a game-time decision, but the Niners are preparing DeShaun Foster for a larger role as the primary ball carrier. Against Miami's stout defense, Gore owners should pursue other options if available.

Good, Good. But DeShaun Foster was a primary back for Carolina wasn't he? He looked good then but what happened that he couldn't even get split carries with Frank Gore? Gore is good, no doubt but everyone needs a breather every once in a while.

I hope he doesn't light us up because he has fresh legs...

Foster is only avg 2.1 yards a carry this year

San Francisco has been playing annoyingly competitively coming up to this game. No Gore would be a boon for Miami indeed. Here's hoping Foster doesn't have one of those freakishly effective games he seems to about once a season where he plays like the player people were making him out to be in his first season or two.
