All the teams we thought were going to be gimmie's this year... guess what? They are getting hot and starting to win. It's a freakin' crap shoot from here on out. We could go 8-8 but I think its going to be more like 6-10.

Yeah Bucs at home looks like a tough one....If we don't win convincingly on Sunday I will start to feel worried about the direction of this team for the first time

5-11

With no pass rush,no Ferguson in the lineup, our mediocre linebackers, and with our safety play. On the offensive side of the ball absolutely NO RECEIVERS, now that even BESS has the drops. We don't have the capability to come back when we are down.I am leaning towards 5-11. We really need 2-3 more drafts before we compete at a high level. There are alot of holes to fill and you can't do it in one draft. We have Wanny,Saban and Cameron to thank for a lack of talent on this roster!:boohoo:

It's always going to be a crap shoot, even for a team like the Saints who just barely beat the Panthers.

But Miami is not a pushover team, they fight to the end, and come at you with a variety of offensive fronts. Your news is old hat and common sense.

Ferguson could be back this week, as could Crowder. That will help the defense out. I would be VERY surprised if we finished 5-11, because that would mean we would be going 2-6 with the easier half of our schedule. I am thinking more like we go 4-4 in the second half and finish 7-9. Hopefully we can finish with a winning record in the second half so we can at least finish at .500.

Well ok i look the schedule and there are three games that are maybe wins most likely loses. NE at our place, Texans that have a strong offense, and Pittsburgh.

The other games you can not just say we will be wins because you never know who will get injured on our side, weather conditions, or any other unlucky breaks.

But saying this team will go 6-10 is out there and is the wrost case scenario. If you ask me 8-8 is more then reasonable to say will happen and 7-9 would not be wrong to say would be upsetting. Saying 9-7 would not be unexpected but would be better then most people think.

Big picture: We have been hanging with the best teams in the NFL. Obviously if we have let downs we'll lose, but come on, we were in every game but the Atlanta Game.

Despite our faults, we were in position to win the game Sunday against the Patriots in their place.

You know we're going to take it one game at a time, but I don't believe it's out of the question to win the next six straight. New England will be the tough one. We go 9-5 and we get Houston and Pittsburgh at home to finish out. Alot can happen.

Not saying we're guaranteed a playoff spot, but it's not THAT far fetched. Of the four teams in our division we played the good teams first. Now it's New England's turn. End of the year is the Jets.

Injuries can happen (look at Carolina - they just lost the heart of their defense).

I'm sorry, but If I'm New England, I'm not happy with that win. We were close to the end and were it not for a lack of pass rush, we win that game. We didn't have our starting middle linebacker and starting nose tackle and we still had a chance in the 4th quarter.

We just need to get on a roll like we did last year against average teams.

Dooable? Absolutely.

Bigger picture: We're on track. We have some obvious deficiencies (2 game breaking wide receivers, a great tight end and an elite free safety), but we're going in the right direction. How good has Henne been? Can you imagine if he had just one dominant receiver? Also, our Oline, with the exception of last week, has gotten better every week.

Anyways, I'm good with the team right now. I think we still have a shot (albeit difficult) at the post season and we're developing a personality. Did you hear what Norv Turner whispered to Sparano after we played them. Teams don't want to play us. They'll get a punch in the mouth and a solid game.

Let's make a run and see what happens.

(speaking of which, I know it's not right to hope that an opposing player gets hurt, but be honest, if Tom Brady had his shoulder ripped off in a game how many of you would shed a tear? Seriously? The way he's stomping his foot at the refs demanding a pass interference on every incompletion - like there had to be a penalty if he didn't complete a pass - I hate that guy.)

Upward and onward Dolphin fans. We're in good hands and the future is bright. It's just going to take a little while. And we better resign our best player hands down - Ronnie Brown.

Sorry but saying we are 2-3 drafts away is ridiculous...We are one draft and a couple signings away from being in the NFL elite

Thank you.

I totally agree.

We will draft a huge NT next year because that is the key to the 3-4. We'll draft a stud playmaking receiver and a Solid Free safety.

We'll sign an under-the-radar WR who is productive and can grow (ala Miles austin).

Mark it down.

Okay, Here's a better scenario:

Tom Brady drops back to pass and a piano falls on him.

He's okay (still alive) but he's emotionally scarred the rest of his life.

It could be a giant safe or an anvil or a 2 ton weight. Doesn't have to be a piano. I'm just sayin...

I would also accept 12 wolverines released in Tom's direction at the snap of the ball.
