DOLPHINS (9-5) at CHIEFS (2-12)
• When: 1 p.m. Sunday • TV: CBS
• Line: MIA by 4 • Cote: KC 19-17
I may be crazy. I've been accused of worse. But I feel the Dolphins are due a slipup and that Arrowhead Stadium -- with wintry temps and wind blustering around 25 mph -- is a place ripe for slipping. Lowly Chiefs have some talent and have competed hard, including in last week's 22-21 loss to San Diego, and QB Tyler Thigpen is a Pennington-esque 13-5 on TDs/picks his past eight games. Yes, I am well aware how important this game is to Miami's playoff bid and that the Dolphin D has not allowed a touchdown in three games in a row. That's why they call it an upset!

This is the same idiot, who I believe, picked the 49ers and Bills over Miami the past couple of weeks. No respect.

wow, say what you want about who is going to slip but we should really start acting like we're going to win EVERY week. your a miami sports writer, shoulden't you have to like the team your covering a little bit?

Whatever .. this'll just make 10 games we've proven idiots wrong then.

What blows my mind is everyone (except Dolphin fans) think that just because it is going to be cold we don't stand a chance. But it is going to be just as cold for KC as it is for Miami. They don't seem to remember that Chad has played in his share of cold weather. Has the KC quarterback played in many really cold games??? I don't know. The other thing that the commentators fail to mention is that the Dolphins have something to play for. KC doesn't. I know there is the pride factor but do you guys think that KC is going to play this cold game for pride. I don't i think they are going to want to get thru this game and the next to finish there season and go home. Also the Jets who play in seattle this weekend are going to face a FREEZING RAIN GAME. I live in Oregon and it is a mess here right now but even worse in Seattle. And saturday nite and all day Sunday we are going to have FREEZING RAIN. It is going to be a real mess up here and in Seattle. So i guess we will see how good the Jets play in really cold weather. The temps. for the game are going to be around 20 degrees with freezing rain but if they say 20 degrees you can bet on 15-18 degrees. Believe me it is going to be cold at that game. So i guess we will see but i don't believe the Jets are going to have an easier game then us. And no team wants to play in weather that cold either in Seattle or KC.

Also seattle is scarier than KC.

Deion Branch is still a playmaker we saw it vs New England and I bet if they had him when seattle played Miami they might have beat us.

The chiefs have looked flat and are very similar to Miam ilast year. They stay in games and give you hope but can't finish the game. It seems as if they play a 50 min game and then let it all slip away.

i hate all this talk about the cold weather. we have actually in my opinion played pretty solid in cold weather, but r record is so bad in cold weather games due to the fact we just would always collapse at the end of every game in december, but that would also happen in warm weather games. ricky williams thrives in cold weather games, pennington has played in plenty of cold weather games in the meadowlands in his career, and i can go on and on. bottom line is i dont see an upset this week in r game as i think we will win against a team who no matter wat the tempature or the weather is outside, they always find ways to lose each week in diffrent types of fashion one worst then the next. if there was going to be an upset this week, and i wouldnt rlly consider it an upset bc the jets rnt to good, but i would say the seahawks will beat the jets easily.

well if he has picked bills and 9ers to beat us, maybe he feels like itd be bad luck if he picked us to win..
