grade r draft so far

Ronnie Brown: A best talent at position of serious need.
Matt Roth: B- good talent, but ANOTHER DE?
Channing Crowder: B+ Steal in 3rd round to gradually replace aging LB corps
Travis Daniels: C- Homer pick
Anthony Alabi: B sounds like a beast who just needs a good OL coach to develop him

Overall: B

I love our draft this year.
Brown-A+ The best player on the whole darft imo
Roth-A the guy has a motor that doesn't stop..He is the gladiator
Crowder-A- If he stays healthy then is A++
Daniels-B He's a Saban guy who can play corner or safety
Alibi-I have to say that I'm surprise at this pick.I thought he'd go center if he was goping for o-line but maybe he didn't like what was left out there.

Overall I give Nick an A as he got 1st round talent with 3 guys.

Ozzy rules!!

Matt Roth: C- (ANOTHER defensive lineman?! you have to be kidding)

Crowder: C+ dont like the pick, but our linbackers are getting to old

Travis Daniels: B- good we needed a CB, but looking at the statistics, he aint gonna make a difference.

Alabi: C dont know him and can't be bothered to look at his stats, but we need an offensive lineman

Have you even read about any of the guys we've drafted (besides the ronnie brown who everyone knows), because if you had you would not rate Matt Rooth a C- or even Crowder a C+. Before you grade something do your homework, don't just look if we needed someone there or not.

As for my grade:
Ronnie Brown A+, arguably the best back in the NFL should be a great contributor to the team.
Mat Roth A, from what I've read this dude is an insane monster on the field which is exactly what we need on the line to stop the run. Could be starting at the beginning of the year, but if not he will see major playing time. Also probably the other OLB in the hybrid 3-4 we're doing instead of JT.
Channing Crowder A, Another freak on the field and I believe Crowder will be worth the risk we take. I mean hell he was first round at the beginning of the draft and we got him in the third. Now that is a steal. Plus he's a great replacement for Zach who is getting old. Great Pick.
Travis Daniels B, I don't know about all the other corners and how good they were but Saban knows this guy and I trust Saban. Plus he fills the CB/S need.
Athony Alabi C+ to B- I don't know too much about him, because he is an under the radar guy, but he might be good. OUr O-line coach scouted him personally, and that's good enough for me.

Brown- A+ possibly best player in draft. A threat as a RB and reciever. Like drafting a WR and RB at the same time.
Roth- B+ a potential 1st rounder in the 2nd round, nonstop motor on an athletic DE
Chandler- A I thought NE would take the best ILB in round 1, to get him in rnd 3 is great!
Daniels- C+ I feel Mr. Saban went with his heart and not head here. Would have loved Elton Brown but a hardworking, 2nd tier CB for insurance in case a starter gets hurt is ok here.
Alabi- B A good project for offensive tackle. The man has the will, and the tools, he just needs time to develop.

I think Brown is a B-. I am concerned he runs too upright and has no moves. He is fast and strong, but in the NFL everyone is fast and strong. But I will believe in saban on this.

Roth B-You can always use a nasty guy or two on a team.

Crowder C-Injuries is a real issue. But once again I will trust Saban and the Med staff that they researched.

Daniels C-No real opinion.

Albi B-Mostly because we addressed a real need on this team. We need OLine help desperately and I am glad to see us draft soemone.

Overall: B

Brown: A+, I thought he was the best back in the draft

Roth: A, Very good value at his spot and brings some intensity to the DL, better player than Holliday and Bowens

Crowder: C+ (currently), A (if knees hold up and he drops his bully like behavior), great production on the field but there are questions which if answered he could be a steal

Daniels: C (if he plays CB), B (if he plays safety), I hope they put a few more lbs on him and make him a safety where his speed and inability to turn and run with WRSs would be less of an issue

Alabi: B, I think Houck might can mold this guy into a future player for the Dolphins, adds depth

Overall a B+ to A- but it could go up to a solid A if Crowder works out both on and off the field and Daniels play safety.

I thought you meant you gave the draft a grade 'r'. I was going to ask where you went to school? Pirate U.?

The individual picks themselves are good. But overall grade:

F

We missed out on QB, out BIGGEST need and the MOST IMPORTANT position EVER on ANY team.

Dude, you need to calm down, take a step back, and remember that just because Saban didn't pick who you thought he should pick, doesn't make this a bad draft.

There are some questions about a few of his picks myself... but I can't see how anyone can rationalize it being an "F". :shakeno:

Ronnie Brown - A+
Matt Roth - A+
Channing Crowder - A-
Travis Daniels - B+
Anthony Alabi - B-
