Grading this year's draft is a little too early, but how about last year?

2005:
MIA: Ron Brown, Matt Roth, Channing Crowder, Travis Daniel, Anthony Alabi,
Kevin Vickerson

NE: Logan Mankins, Ellis Hobbs, Nick Kaczur, James Sanders, Ryan Claridge, Matt Cassel, Andy Stokes

BUF: Roscoe Parris, Kevin Everett, Raymond Preston, Eric King, Justin Geisinger, Lionel Gates

NYJ: Mike Nugent, Justin Miller, Sione Pouha, Kerry Rhodes, Andre Maddox, Cedric Houston, Joel Dreessen, Harry Williams

Miami had Brown and Crowder make an impact. Not sure about the others.

I don't see anyone from the Pats or Bills I remember playing.

At least five of the Jets played with starters (Nugent, Miller, Rhodes).

According to ESPN during the draft, Miami was the only team that had 3 rookies start at least 12 games last season. Brown, Crowder, and Daniels. I don't think they counted Nugent for the Jets as "starting".

Parrish was hurt part of the year, but was used as a kick returner later in the year. Everett hurt a knee and missed the entire season. Duke Preston played some guard late in the season although I don't think he started any games. Eric King played a little DB.

Brown, Crowder and Daniels made an impact on the team last season. We didn't get to see Brown showcase all of his skills that much because of Ricky starting to get alot of PT and of Brown running low because of injuries the last couple of game. We expected to see Daniels do good because he already knew what Saban was all about and he knew the kind of defense that he was installing. I really didn't expect Crowder to do what he did because I figured he would've got his starting chance either the last of the season or even this year. He plays with high emotions and sometimes that high emotions can cause him trouble here and there. Roth was a nice player in the DL rotation, but it was hard for him to get PT with al of the DL's we had. Alabi is a project at LT and I think the project might of failed because of all the T's we are bringing in that could make the team. Vickerson did well and changed his turd attitude that was in mini-camp and he came in TC with more improved and ready to do his thing. He would've made the team if he didn't get hurt because he was playing well. You also can't forget about Manny Wright. Last in the season, he earned some PT and actually made some nice plays. I read in a article a couple of days ago that he was doing well and him and Quinn was studing film throughout the week.

Overall, I say we had one damn good draft class last season. The best I have seen from us in a while.

NE - A ( Starting LT and Starting LG and Starting CB and a promising young QB)

Miami - B (Future top 10 RB, Good starting LB, and a decent starting CB of the future)

Jets - B- ( Decent starting S, Good starting CB and return man, good kicker)

Bills - C ( No 1st rounder, Top punt returner, Nickle CB)

I really dont see why the Bills bothered drafting Kevin Everett, he never did **** at UM.

yep, we will have to wait untill after this season before we can really see what those players can do.

Obviously, NFL scouts had a higher opinion of him than you do, but then, being a Fish Fan, you know everything.

This has nothing to do with me bieng a Fish fan, I've seen enough UM games to know that he is no big ****.

He only had 400 yards recieving in his career, you can bring up the fact that he didn't get alot of playing time because Winslow was there but when he did get his chance to start he only got 310 yards recieving. Those numbers should speak for themselves. He could be an average Tight End but I wouldn't keep my hopes up for anything better. Tell me who else was intrested in Everett besides the Bills FO?

They drafted him because he was from UM. It's apparent that the Bills only draft players from UM and Ohio State defensive backs.

Miami had by far the best draft last year in the afc east with an easy A they were the only team in the nfl to have 3 rookies to start atleast 12 games, its pretty hard not to have a good draft when you have the 2nd overall pick and you pick up a running back like ronnie brown who deff showed a lot of people that he will have a big year this year, channing crowder plays with a lot of intensity and is a big hitter, travis daniels was pretty much forced to start the season with the injury to poole and he did an excellent job and for being a 4th round pick i would deff say he was a steal....the rest of the afc east is up in question because no one other than the dolphins last year really had a stellar draft, i will say NE did nicely but i would give the jets and bills low grades for last years draft, rosco was hurt for most of the season and even though mike nugget is expected to be a good kicker he is still not a reliable kicker and he cant make anything past 43 to 44 yards and kicking is key in clutch games and veteran kickers are the way to go imo...overall Dolphins A, Patriots B Jets C Bills C-
