Ok last night we ran very few WC plays one did lead to a TD but that drive got down there via the base offense.

So it looked pretty good to me moved the ball well and with a seriously short week to prepare for a Thursday ROAD game.

Henne 17-29 59% completion 172 yards 1 TD 87.1 QB rating

Ricky- 2 runs out of the WC so lets get rid of those 20 carries 110+ and a TD

Lex- 4 carries 24 yards

Bess: 6 catches 63 yards

Ginn: 4 catches 32 yards

Hartline: 2 catches 47 including a 36 yarder

So grade the performance of the base offense...you can take whatever factors you wish to take into consideration in your grade.

The offense was decent. Just missing that big play wr. Wish we would have traded for Braylon Edwards now. He was Henne's wr at Michigan for a year. I remember they were dynamite that year. We should have reunited them!

Considering the short week of practice and the O-line being plug and play there for a while, you have to give it a solid B....which is generally higher than i would grade our offense WITH RB AND THE WC.

Yep. Shouldve traded Ronnie for him.

You build in the draft, and dont trade away good players for bums like Braylon "Stonehands" Edwards. You especially dont trade away RBrown for him when RW is as old as he is. Good lord, this forum gives me a headache sometimes. Jesus go ask Steeler fans how much fun they made of Braylon over the years for disappearing in big games, and dropping passes as he was about to get hit. Remind you of anyone??

We probably arnt going to be able to trade Ronnie even if we wanted to....he probably wont be able to pass a physcial until well into TC.

I like R. Brown but he has injury problems every year almost. I still think R. Williams at 32 or whatever age is a better RB. Ronnie just doesn't have that burst through the line like Rw. If you are comparing Braylon and Ginn then you just killed your credibility right there. I want even try to explain.

Oh Yeah! You are not building through the draft when you waste a 2and rounder on P. White!

Trust me, nobody I know wanted to see him land in Miami either. I was hoping he would go to the Steelers and play WR where he could make the transition to WR with no pressure right away, for a team that isnt in rebuild mode for the next 3-4 years. As it stands, he is stuck in a bad situation for a team that did have more essential needs at his draft spot.

But thats in the past, hes here so I will support him. Maybe they can trade him somewhere else, who knows, it would be best for both parties involved.

Haha, yea right. You know nothing of football if you dont think RW is on his last little stretch. He was spared a couple years due to his "off the field problems", but a couple years reprieve is all he is going to get. I could name RB after RB who fell off the map post 30 years old.

And LOL at Braylon being good, hahahahahaha. Yea, dude has been Mr Clutch in his career right?????? Man, this place must have a lot of Michigan fans.....rofl.

I know RW only has a couple years left, but he is still better than RB. You can't count on RB anymore I'm afraid. Looks like Braylon was showing out his first game against us. He may drop some balls but he does go after the ball with a passion. Loved P. White in college. He was a great college QB.

Where was White last night? Alot of base offense to allow Henne to lead this team was a sight for sore eyes.

We did well, but boyyyyy did we start off slow. We have to work on coming out STRONG on offense

true that if we could just get a rhythm early not even points it would help us out
