Grantland has an interesting piece out - why go for X when you could draft Y.

Basically pointing out those guys where the production doesn't match the hype.

Have to say I fully agree with Collins vs. Golson, Jarrett vs. Armstead (very dissimilar players though), can even see the rationale behind DGB/Mayle, even if I don't agree. If I was picking a guy to contrast with Owa, it wouldn't be Anderson, it'd be someone like Za'Darius Smith of Kentucky, who's not so different and available two or three rounds later. Neither has great awareness, despite both being very disruptive. Byron Jones vs. Jacoby Glenn? Don't know to be honest, but certainly I couldn't see the fuss watching Byron's games. Looks extremely ordinary. Can't understand the Humphries/Havenstein comparison at all. Maybe someone can enlighten me. There must be 5 other tackles you could put up against Humphries that would have a better chance of being in the same ballpark than Havenstein. I'm a huge Humphries fan, though the injuries are a concern.

Some food for thought with certain of the hyped players who lack production. Collins and Armstead are absolute no-no's for me.
