I checked to see if the article was posted before but I couldn't find it and it gave me a chubby so I had to share it with you guys.

I love this part about about the Lions trainer calling us to for worn us about ordering extra facemasks!!!!

"No joke, Schlesinger figures he has run through more than 200 facemasks during the past 12 seasons with the Detroit Lions. After the Dolphins signed Schlesinger as a free agent this offseason, an equipment manager from the Lions actually called with a warning."

I may have to get a Slaz jersey!!!!!!!!!!
What a upgrade at the FB position this year.GO CAM!!!!!!

Nice POst ! Hey do you know any place were we can see some video highlights of Cory?

Thats a great read.I acctually got pumped reading it.I start double days tomarrow at 9.I feel a little more gritt after that artical.
I cant wait to get that first hit in.

I like this guy alot already and I haven't seen him play much except a few clips. He reminds me of some video I saw of the 1972 Dolphins with Larry Csonka. He sounds like he loves to get in there and block the hell out of people like he's in a demolition derby or something. That's probably how he got the nickname "anvil head" when he played in Detroit. :D

Maybe we won't need to compare him to Csonka or anybody before long. Everyone else in the NFL world will talk about Ronnie and that badazz fullback Schlesinger guy on the Dolphins. ... they'll just call him "anvil head" or "schledgehammer" or something. I'm sure that's what Ronnie and Corey have in mind for 2007 ... lots of big yards, broken facemasks, bruised and battered linebackers and touchdowns. :chuckle:

This guy is the real deal.

My fav part of the article:

Forget luck. It might be more about his toughness, considering he talks about a laundry list of injuries as if he only broke a few nails.
''I broke my leg, I broke my fibula, cracked a vertebrae in my back,'' Schlesinger said. ``I separated my collar bone from my sternum. Um, high ankle sprain. A few hamstrings. That's about it.''

That's about it? Holy crap this guy is tough! Just who we need leading RB through the line.
