Yea Im sure Dirk is going to D-up Shaq. :lol: Dirk is a matchup nightmare for any team and I don't see the Heat stopping him but DWade or Shaq are capable of scoring pt for pt with him on any given night. Someone like Stackhouse or Terry is going to have to put up some big numbers for the Mavs to win IMO. I like both teams, this is a entertaining and fairly even matchup for once, great series.
 
Thats a nice piece but the writer leaves out 1 huge piece of info regarding the shaq/russell comparison and thats that they have extra rounds for the playoffs now. More rounds = more opportunity to pick up series wins and whereas there were once feewer teams in the playoffs now there are more and those bottom 7/8 seeds are almost always automatic w's barring the occassional upset.
