On that Will Allen interception, please take note that Jason Allen deserves a little extra credit for re-directing Marshall on the route. See what a big, physical cornerback can do....

Samson Satele gets pushed backwards routinely on running plays. Ikechuku Ndukwe and Evan Mathis spend too much of the game on the ground, and Vernon Carey isn't the bullish run blocker he was earlier in his career because he's spending too much time and energy trying to stay on his feet in this contract season

Man those quotes are HARSH but true. Coach Sparano needs to find a way to get our line to get the initial punch off the snap. It is a fairly young line but they need to work on the push. They have pass blocked very very well but they need to get angry and mean on the run block.

I have seen Shawn Murphy regarded as the best run blocking guard in the draft....maybe it's time to give him a shot at RG?

interesting how he shares my feelings that we need a kicker who can create more touchbacks.

Very interesting indeed!

Nice read thanks....

and OUCH! that Prater comment really hurt. We had this guy in our own back yard?

I wish Carpenter could put the ball deeper on kickoffs to eliminate the return yardage.

I don't know why this should hurt. If Prater had kicked this well in Miami he might still be here. Hell, I he had kicked this well in Atlanta he might still be in Atlanta instead of Denver where the thin air definitely helps his kickoff average.

I've heard that sparano knows that our ST coverage is bad so he tells carpenter to kick it high and short so that our guys can get to the ball. but u would ahve to figure that he is telling him this because of his ultimate inability to kick the ball into the end zone for a touchback.

agreed thats why i am a little shocked about the pickup of the lineman brandon frye. he is at a pos of need but i think that a more impact player would have been a ST coverage guy. a quick corner burried in someone's practice squad. a trea williams out of usf, or someone to that effect to help with the kicking game. we have let some big plays and even on the not so big plays they are just a single broken tackle away from a huge play, which is scary the way we tackle.

I would have loved signing Trae Williams, he has three good corners ahead of him in Philly.

You mean he has four good corners ahead of him in Philly? If Trae cannot make the active roster as even a dime back, then he must not be ready for prime time yet.

Well we just signed a guy who cannot make the oline of the Texans which is hardly stellar. If you are the 4th corner you better be a good special teamer and lets not forget they have good safeties. I would take Trae williams over Joey Thomas.
