Let your hearts not be troubled Fin Fans. Your team had the ball 45 min to 15 and beat the crap out of our Defense. Peyton's a beast! face it. He only needed 15 min. to win the game but I was disappointed he didn't throw in a few runs to eat the clock up more on his last drive. Too much time left on the clock after that 33 second scoring drive. Your 'Wildcat' plays ate us up bigtime and there was a few times Peyton went three and out. It was just an amazing game on both sides of the ball. Ball control vs big, fast drives and when your blessed with a premiere QB like Manning, your gonna win those games at least 70% of the time. I remember that MNF game against Tampa Bay with the Bucs up by 24 with less than 4 min. to go on the clock. 35,000 Tampa fans left early feeling good that they beat the mighty Colts and had this game in the bag. What they woke up to the next day was a twilight zone episode in the making as Manning engineered the greatest comeback in NFL history. I hold that game dear to my heart because that game said, "No lead is safe against Manning and company"
I sure as hell would not like to have my Colts meet up with your Fins in the play-offs because like last year when the Fins started out 0 and 2 wound up 11 and 5 and won the division. Best of luck to you guys and gals. It was a pleasure and an honor talking to all of you who responded to my posts and I will be back again on this fine forum to say hi and I will be rooting for the Fins if the Colts implode this year. I've always loved Dan Marino and even though he was the biggest pest when we were in the east, I can now appreciate it even more when we have the biggest pest in our southern division.
May the Football Gods shine upon the Fans and the Team.....Joe. :thanks:
