Thanks, Jim. From what I was told, the Dolphins' interest in Harvin was genuine, and they were very impressed by Nicks in his the N.C. player workout with Ireland/Sparano etc. But they considered cornerback by far their most pressing need, and they had Davis rated highly.

By the way, CBS just reported that when Porter reported to the Dolphins facility Saturday, he was told that he was seen out Friday night and should have been resting instead. Sparano then sent him home, according to CBS. I'm sure Armando and Jeff will try to confirm that today.

I wonder if Porter was seen in a nightclub "dancing with his shirt off like a girl with his popcorn muscles" as Brandon Marshall once put it?
 
Florida Sports Buzz by Barry Jackson (Miami Herald) is the best source of quality Dolphins news, hands down. We'll probably see this story play out tomorrow. Maybe Porter will get suspended- at least that way the team can save some money if they prefer Anderson and Wake anyway.

Frankly I think our defense played great today. Both TD drive were after offensive turn overs. BTW who is Joey Porter ;o)
 
he was at the Heat game, the game when it was Cleveland vs. Miami, the fans booed him when he was on the big screen i think, lol
