Welcome! More great news since then. We went after Harbaugh, signed him, didn't sign him, then retained Sporano, now maybe didn't retain Sporano. There you go, now you're caught up to this morning. I think

Understood. I would have been excited if he was canned mid-season. Now, not so much.

It wasn't a given that he was retiring or being let go (he could have been saying that because he knew Sparano's job was in jeopardy or to save face). With the current tumultuous state of the franchise I wouldn't have put it past them to retain him if Sparano was kept.
