GREAT PICK!!!! Lamar Miller!!!

Can't knock them for taking a player that many had as the second best RB and going in the second round. This can is a huge playmaker and has good vision.

ESPN is becomng the BSPN Patriots channel.....makes me sick.

He was #1 on Kipers best available board and #7 on Mayocks. 1st to 2nd round talent, definitely a BPA pick here.

Lamar Miller had a shoulder injury and without that he had a first round grade on par with Doug Martin and David Wilson..Love the pick! I could see us trading reggie bush now..

That's not why he fell. He fell because he doesn't have great agility, doesn't pass protect well, doesn't provide much in the passing game, & isn't a move the pile type player to get short yardage. Though some of this may not be his fault because Al Golden & Jed Fisch didn't use him in those situations but there isn't any game tape proving he can do those things. Lamar played through his shoulder injury though he was tentative to take a hit.

Skins took Cousins???? Doubts about RG3????

Long gone are the days of Morano and Parcells of slow cornfed players, we are adding speed and agility to all positions, great pick.

has degenerate knee condition is why he dropped so far. Otherwise would had been a late 1st rounder according to Omar Kelly.

I'm just saying we just ignored one of our biggest need, and drafted a rb, which we already have depth at and wasted a draft pick on.

Draft for talent, not need.

The good teams are the ones that aren't afraid to make their strengths stronger. Giants drafted a WR high, Ravens drafted a passrusher high, and Steelers made back to back picks for offensive line. They all made those picks because of the talent of those players. Not surprisingly, those teams are some of the most successful in the NFL.

We just got the poor man's Portis, but I don't necessarily hate this pick. There is value there.

This pick makes me believe we'll be using Reggie Bush at WR more than I anticipated. Philbin has hinted at that, and he's not a bluffer.

Miller was overstated when projected to first or early second. This level is fine. I hadn't heard about the knee concern but shoulder has been obvious for years. He often leaves the field on tilt, like a golfer at the top of his backswing, with one shoulder facing the turf.

I've read on a couple of draft forums that he flunked the chalkboard tests in amazing fashion, nearly unprecedented.

Miller's strengths are well documented. If the seam is there he bursts and can make the one cut or one subtle move to take it the distance. Not a zig zag type.

I've posted this many times: Canes players invariably are tougher and stronger at the next level, for whatever reason. When the concern is soft, there's almost an asterisk involved. It will largely take care of itself.

So, we drafted another running back who redshirted but unlike Ronnie Brown this one arrives 3 years out of high school, not 5.

He will be the biggest impact guy from this draft class next year. GREAT pick.

He really won't be.

Kid is too soft and that shoulder is busted up more than he's letting people realize.

TRUST ME on that one.

He doesn't like contact and he avoids it at all cost. This is why I was so thankful he left Miami early for the draft.

He knows that his shoulder is beat up more than he wants people to realize. He wanted to get paid while he could. So he bolted early to get paid and if that shoulder doesn't work out then he walks away in a couple of years.

Do not like this pick at all.
