Great Read On Satele!!!!

outstanding read...i love that we have a big nasty Samoan as our Center...i do believe Samson Satele is going to be a Pro-Bowl Center for us for many years.

I like how Ferguson and satele are going to help each other become better in the offseason. Thats being committed and driven beyond just wanting to win, thats a team approach and the right attitude

amen to that,i wholeheartedly agree...

Satele was an awesome pickby Mueller, hopefully Beck and Ginn can follow. I love the idea of his attitude coming out and I hope he man handles Jenkins come Opening dy.

From playing football for 10 years i know that "generally" offensive guys kinda hang out with other offensive guys and defensive guys hang out with defensive guys. Reading this article i think its the best thing in the world if these guys form a bond, and really want to help each other. Competition is always a good thing and its even better when its friendly competition because they will work each other on the field and talk to each other off the field about things they saw in each other during practice instead of just trying to beat the other guy in practice and going their own way after.

I love the Hawaiian sensation... another year older, wiser, stronger, he could be scarry!!!

Excellent read man, good find!

Samson is a fun player to watch develop. He is molding himself into quite the leader, and leaders are always at a premium, especially on this team, and esp. on offense.

Ferguson will make him a better player, and if he can hold his own against him, he should be greatly improved against the rest of the division.

Samson is definitely one of the players to watch out for, esp since Hadnot left, and he has sole resp for making the right calls on the line.

I agree. I am so looking forward to seeing them both play!

I am glad to Maser's comments. Satele had a good rookie season, but he did not have a good season. He hurts with very inconsistent play. It is time for him to deliver on his potential. I believe he will, but he has not proven himself to be an NFL quality center. I am encouraged by the fact that Ferguson is focusing on making Satele better, and I hope that Satele can return the favor.

You obviously weren't watching last year because he PROVED that he can play center in the NFL at a quality level. Yea he needs to be more consistent . . . but he was a rookie, learning a COMPLETELY different scheme from what he ran at Hawaii and he did IMO a fantastic job last year of stepping in and being a guy that we all now expect to be a mainstay and potential pro bowler of this line in a few years.

Were u expecting him to be flawless or something? He may have been the brightest spot on offense last year once Ronnie went down . . . and he is only going to get better.
