Vonnie Holliday-5 sacks
Kevin Carter-6 sacks
David Bowens-6 sacks
Jason Taylor-12 sacks
Manny Wright-1 sack
Matt Roth-1 sack
Keith Traylor-2 sacks
Jeff Zgonina-2 sacks

Our D-Line is getting a lot of penetration, and this is the first time I can remember us having 8 different linemen with atleast 1 sack.

We're also getting a lot of sacks off of blitzes
Zach Thomas-2 sacks
Lance Schulters-2 sacks
Donnie Spragan-1 sack
Yerimaih Bell-3 sacks
Reggie Howard-1 sack
Tebucky Jones-2 sacks

Saban's agressive defense has really helped improved our sack total.

My only complaint is the lack of turnovers

agree but i wonder, is the blitzing causing to give up to many yards? our def is ranked 26th i believe! its never been that low for abotu 234243 yrs. we give up a lot of yards but still seem to win of late and not allow 30+ pt games. its a very WIERD and ironic thing.

That's because our secondary was not so good early in the season and we have safetys that can't stay on their feet when we need them to :)

true. lacne had a huge problem with that today and does get beaten on long passes often. he is a good S i believe in teh 10-15 yard range, no more.

I just had to bump this thread.

Early in the year the Fin's line was
avg. at best (not include the goalline stand vs Denver)

Once the Fin DL gel

The DL really rebounded well and have been the best unit on the team

not really. we use to give 84 rypg now its like 116. how is that gelling together? only diff is that they are getting a lot more sacks.
