Amazing win guys. Miami held the lead when it looked like Denver was going to roar back.

But there is one problem with this game. Our running game has struggled again for the 3rd straight week. This week was against the Texans though. Can anybody who watched this game tell me why our running game struggled so much?

Everyone is now planning for our running game. They don't expect us to be able to move the ball at all through the air so they focus on our running attack. We aren't threatening at all through the air.

Ronnie had some good runs early on, but Denver just seemed to really bring the heat in the second half. Plus, we seemed to abandon the run just a little which went in our advantage on that last drive that sealed the deal with the Ronnie touchdown.

I am a little puzzled that the running game has struggled the past three weeks or so. Hopefully they can rebound at home next week against the Seahawks.

No ronnie brown did the best he could of done... but they stacked the box and really focused on stopping the run. i guess they did good job but we ended up doing a hell of a job keeping them with 14 yards rushing! haha and anyway they had 2 weeks to prepare so really we didn't do all that bad... the one concern i had was henning and his play callling!

Our run blocking is not very good right now. It looks like a work in progress. Every time Pennington hands the ball to Ronnie it seems like a defender is meeting him in the backfield. We need to shore that up ASAP!!!!

Ronnie Brown isn't that good.
Yes, he is very good. He has had some down time here, but you can't forget his great performances this year. Did you forget his 5 touchdown day at New England? Or the fact that he is second in the NFL in rushing touchdowns(with 8)?

Ronnie is a very valuable part of this team. I think teams are just really game planning against our best offensive weapon. They are forcing Pennington to beat them through the air. Which he continues to do.

Whatever, my boy Ricky saved the day again. i was screaming for someone to make A PLAY and low and behold Ricky with the catch at the four yard line. Wooot

its called 8 in the box all day.
Thats why Camarillo had 11 cathes and the hitches were open all day it was 1on1 out there.
And The middle of our O line gets no push.
That has to change.
But everytime i looked they were stackin the box and daring pennington to beat em.
and we saw what happened

I think... like many of us dolphin fans... i was fooled into thinking the o-line was coming together after the big wins over NE and SD!!! but after 8 games.. it is painfully obvious that the interior of the line isn't getting any push in the running game... all to many runs are getting minimal gains... and now that the widcat formation isn't as successful as it was... the run game isn't producing... the short to intermediate passing game is what has become successful... and if it wasn't for pennington's masterful game management... this team WOULDN'T have 4 WINS!!!! IMO a mean and nasty interior guard is what is needed to fix this problem... if miami drafts in the 12 - 20 range i'd be looking at Alex Mack, the center/guard from california... he's the best prospect at that position to come out in about a 10-12 years... he has parcells written all over him... he's super smart.. and an excellent technician... he'd be a HUGE upgrade at guard or center!!!

Ronnie Brown is 2nd in the league with 8 rushing touchdowns. They had 2 weeks to plan for this game and they knew Ronnie was a threat, so they stacked the box. We don't have the QB for long air passes most of the time, but we still find ways to make big plays. He made a BIG play against Denver on 3rd and long, even though the play looked dead.

okay bust out the list big boy of the better backs in the afc! wait, why not the nfl it shouldn't be too hard though right?

I agree, best play of the game, incredible concentration. Seems like every game he has a key play.

It's our O line. Center and RG are getting no push off the line. Very frustrating to watch.
