Gotta say I just watched the game and WOW! I don't know what to say except the fish looked scary good.

Porter backed up his mouth and the fish Offense that goes for 461 yards vs the Pats starting Defense is just crazy!

Brady or no Brady this was the biggest win of the season. Your guys are getting applauded by the entire country. Be proud, congrats.

It's one game, big deal. We always seem to play the Pats tough regardless of who is starting at QB. I was just glad to see the coahing staff actually make an effort to win a game. The Players looked like they were on a mission, they wanted to win the game. Combine the two and the end result is a beautiful thing. I don't believe for one second we'll see the same type of results in the Chargers game, however I don't expect the Dolphins to not show up either. I think the Dolphins are far more talented then some people think and I also think we can beat any team in the league, doing so regularly is a different story at this point. Long season ahead and while I'll still not make any predictions, I'll say we are as talented as any team in the division.

It is a big deal, the players now know they can win games and I'm sure it will help their confidence in the games that follow. I'm sure Sporano would argue that this 1 single game can have a dramatic influence over the entire season.

I'm sure they can win more games but the team the fish just beat is still a more talented team. Give it time, I'm sure BP will attract some talent to Miami.

Uh huh, we'll see what happens. But the Pats team we played Sunday was nothing near the 18-1 team that dominated the league last year. The Pats were ripe for the picking, any team in the league could have gone into NE and won the game just as easily.

Thanks Monkey. I know you're really happy because that win put your Bills alone atop the AFCE. Looks like our team is buying into Sparano's game plan, I hope we can build off this win and notch a few more this year.

It's a very big deal. To win their first game in that fashion, in only the third game of the season and against a division rival [Brady or no Brady] is huge. Wins like this can change a season. Wins like this turns a team that hopes to win into a team that expects to win. We'll see I guess.

We'll see, if the Dolphins play the rest of the season the way they played against the Pats, then yes, Sunday was a big deal. Miami went against probably the least experienced QB in the league along with a play they never ran before gave Miami a huge advantage, don't expect that to happen again.

It's a huge deal right now and proof will be in two weeks. Miami had 15,000 no shows at the season opener and I'm willing to bet that the house will be packed when the Charges roll into Miami after the Bye week, just because of what they did to NE.

15,000 more screaming fans every time the Chargers have the ball can upset the rhythm of their Offense and lead to penalties.

Oh come on. That won't happen.. You don't know south florida. The fans totally stink. There are only a very few hardcore Fins fans.

There are more hardcore Miami fans who live out of south florida than hardcore fans who live in south florida.

Even when the dolphins were good you had 1/3 of the stadium filled with fans of the opposing team.. Another 1/3 (or more) of the stadium filled with people of the corporate type ( or just casual fans of football)...... and maybe, maybe if you're lucky, 1/3 Dolphins fans (and that's only if the seats weren't empty, which was rare)...

I hate to admit it, but that's just the reality of it...

Here, you want to see reality in Dolphin stadium during a game ? Look at this video.. Does it look like a home field advantage ? And keep in mind that Miami was playing very well in this game throughout, and eventually won the game- ( it's not like Miami was being blown out, they were doing very well here)-

The Dolphins had awesome fans during the orange bowl days of the 70's and 80's.. I mean, just awesome loud fans. That all disappeared since the move to the "mall-feel" concrete fixture called dolphin stadium.. You're so far from the field sitting in that stadium that even if you wanted to be loud the players would barely hear you.. There is just absolutely no charm, mystique or feel in that crappy stadium.

So the fish get a huge win and the whole city isn't goin' nutz?

Way different than Buffalo.

Oh god no. LOL

I live in Toronto and also own a place in Montreal and in Europe.. So I know how Buffalo can have the team take over the city after a win.. That would never happen in Miami unless they were actually in the super bowl. That's the kind of crappy sports town it is.

Unfortunately.

Oh boy did I ever hate living in south florida, for many reasons... Love the football team but despise the area.. There are just so many better places to live with much better (kind) people, much better topography, many more charming beautiful etc places than god awful south florida... Not to mention wherever you look there's elderly people. and the only reason they are there is so their brittle bones don;t get cold.. Depressing.. There is just so little vibrancy within the people there, it's full of transparency.. so little vibrant "feel" all around.. Downtown city type Architecture in common areas is basically non existent. Sure there are a few condo buildings, basically by the beach, but cookie cutter living is incredibly boring, and depressing.

The place is not bad if you are a multi millionaire and have a nice winter house on the beach or right on the intracoastal (with your boat parked in the back), and only spend 2 or 3 months during winter there.. But to live there year round, it's the pits. Most of my friends I went to high school with down there left south florida years ago. And never looked back.

And neither did I.. You couldn't pay me enough to live down there year round. I can't stand suburbia sprawl, and that's what south florida is.. A hideous life with absolutely no sense of place ( a very empty feeling)... Every damn street corner looks the same with your common gas station on one corner, variety store on another corner, proverbial strip mall on another corner, and a pathetic looking cookie cutter residential community on the other.. Horrible. The place has absolutely no charm whatsoever. Incredibly stale.

Of course, a common reply from a south florida person is "hey, we have a beach".. But there are beaches all over the world (it's not like beaches are exclusive to south florida).. And beaches that are much more beautiful than south florida beaches.. A beach is not reason alone to live somewhere.

If you want to see a beautiful beach, a place spilling with charm and beauty, a place that actually has tremendous culture, and a vibrant place I visited last year in Northern Spain (spent an amazing 6 weeks here), watch this video- starting at 3:00 in-

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVeI-VndCTQ

Now there are a plethora of beautiful places like that on the planet.. Once you travel like I have, and actually see and experience things/places, You quickly see why south florida is garbage -- as are the majority of it's people, it's food, and it's beaches etc etc.

All Buffalo has is the Bills, not hard to see why it's "way different"! If life is so great in Buffalo why are half your home games going to Canada this year? Obviously your owner doesn't think it's "way different".

The Bills, the Sabres, The Bandits, the Bisons, UB, Canisius.

Again you're making false statements. Half the home games are not in Canada and if those games do broaden Buffalo's fan base and give Buffalo more media exposure then awesome. I'm all for it. I'ld just like to see some of that $78 million for them playing the games up North go to Erie County.
