I found this on nfl.com. I thought the talk about Miami was intersting. A guy from Miami Herald, Edwin Pope, has a debate with this Jarret Bell guy from USA Today with what team the best team and greatest superbowl champion and why. It's between '72 dolphins and '78 Steelers.

The best team i ever seen was this year Colts.I no they didn,t make it to the Super Bowl but, after Tony Dungy son died the team was not the same. They lost 3 out of 4 games.

out of those two I'll take the 72 dolphins

But the best superbowl team IMO was the 85 bears

That was a very dominant football team but how would you know since you're only 15? I'm not making fun of you because I kind of agree but I remember how dominant they were.

I think another team that has to be mentioned is the '94-'95 49ers team. That team was so dominant. Most of their games were over by halftime (including the SB). Deion would completely take out the other teams #1 receiver and they had a team full of all stars.

They didn't look very dominate on that Monday night.

No, not at all. Marino & Co. made them look very ordinary. I thought Mike Ditka's head was going to burst he was so red. The cameras could pan back to the far sideline, and you could still see the veins popping out of his head. I loved it.

The funny thing about this is that I don't see how anyone can EVER debate perfection. Now if you are going to take every great team and play them straight up I would put my $$ on the '93 Cowboys. Which really hurts because I HATE the Cowboys.

It was a dip in the road for them.
At least they absolutley crushed the Patriots in the Super Bowl. That's always good, right?

Yes and no. It should have been us out there representing the AFC... and I just know we would have won.

Exactly. They wouldn't have crushed us. Unfortunately we'll never know. :boohoo:
