On Sunshine network right now. Shula will be talking about the Dolphins.
 
And you'de be wrong. The canes did have 2 teams in the running.

Winner is 72 Dolphins. Unanimously!!!!
 
ohh... It was for the single greatest team of all time in Florida? I don't get the Sunshine Network because my wife wanted cable over satelite... :cry:
 
Canes football is awesome, gotta love it. we line-up and just kick your ***....a majority of the time :D
 
Please, the Dolphins are clearly the greatest team in Florida.

The Canes were a joke until the mid 80's, and they have had a lot of down years over the last decade or so.

You can't really compare college teams to Pro teams anyway, its such a lower level, look at how many Canes for example don't make it to the Pros.
 
i have to say the dolphins and then the marlins. they have won two world series since they became a team which i dont know the exact year but i know it was pretty recently.
 
The Miami Dolphins are the greatest team in all of sports in my heart. In terms of recent success, I would say that the Heat have been the most recent successful team in Florida. But the greatest in Florida (and in the NFL and sports) is the Miami Dolphins. Also when I think in terms of the greatest... the 1972 season always comes to mind. :beerbang:
 
The Dolphins had a perfect season in 72, so in my opinion that would have to be it. The canes would have to be second, with their peak being their win against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the early 80's--I have highlights of that game

I love my dolphins and all but your comments were way off base. Im not comparing the two teams but the Canes have so many more accomplishments. The Dolphins have two freakin championships under there belt. How many canes dont make it to the pros? You could ask that with any college team. But lets ask how many HAVE made it? And not only made it but made it BIG. And you wanna talk about off years... 1973-2005 is a pretty HUGE gap at least thats what I think. Canes last championship....2001. So before you come...come correct.
