Denny Green as head coach? - brings in Randy Moss (who wants out of Oakland)....not bad...CP and Moss back together under Green. I think Moss had a reality check when in Oakland, i think he has calmed the mouth down. Hey, if nothing else, at least it brings a spark to this team. I bet that combo can still strike fear into other teams!!
 
No to Denny Green. Why do people keep dragging up crappy old coaches who cant do squat? Why not hire Art Shell when he gets fired? Maybe ring up Jim Mora Sr.?

BTW, news flash!! Cpep and Moss ARE NOT BEST FRIENDS!! They dont really get along that well. Why does everyone think reuniting them will magically make us great? Why not sprinkle some faeiry dust around and wave our magic wands?? It will have about the same effect.

Yeah exactly. Moss may have somewaht matured, but hes not ready to team back up with Culpepper for sure.

The idea of Moss is intriguing, but talk about a risk. Not sure about whether he will bring a "spark" to this team. He used to take "plays" off when in Minnesota, but now he has decided it is ok to take the "whole year" off if he is not happy.
 
Yeah and why don't we convince Robert Smith and Cris Carter to come out of retirement and call a voodoo priest to resurrect Korey Stringer while we're at it too.
 
we need a new direction not a retread.
moss isnt getting any younger and green is all done as a coach.
how about bobby petrino, now that guy can run an O, WE NEED FRESH IDEAS ON THIS TEAM. IF SABAN GOES!!
 
Let's try to completely recreate that Vikings team since they had all that success... wait...

The Vikings were an awesome team when Green coached. One of the best offenses ever assembled. They were a missed field goal away from going to the SB in 98 by a kicker (Gary Anderson) that hadn't missed a field goal (35 for 35) or extra point (59 for 59) all year. At least the Vikings made it to playoffs every year from 96 through 00 and went 4-5 in the playoffs. That would be an upgrade for what has happened here the past 5 years.
 
They got worse and worse as time went on, never a good thing. Green also had one of the greatest assemblages of talent ever seen, and didnt win a SB with it.

And in Zona he has done jack squat.

If guys are good HC, they stay a HC. If they are not a good HC they get fired. Duh!

He inherited a disaster in Arizona and has done a good job of assembling talent there. However, teams only get so many picks and resurrecting the Titanic takes time. Good HC can get fired if they don't have the talent on the field to win games. Duh!

Korey Stringer, R.I.P, was great but but I would settle for a resurrected Richmond Webb. :wink:
