As stated earlier, the Green signing further underlines the fact that there is no lengthy rebuilding process in the works here. The Dolphins aren’t willing to take one step back to take two steps forward. This first became clear with the signing of Joey Porter. Now it is evident again with the arrival of Green. You don’t sign a player with maybe two years left if you think the team is three years away.

didnt see this posted anywhere.

Cam is attempting to gear up for one last shot for Taylor and Thomas and our old defense. But at the same time he's preparing for the future with some of the acquired players. Other than McMichael and Donnie Jones, I love our off-season.

wow....probably one of the worst posts on here......just.....wow.

the dolphins arnt rebuilding all they need to do is the offence

some people have no football knowledge we are rebuilding via through the draft. And jsut because your rebuilding doesnt mean you dont get players that cant make an impact for your team right now there 53 roster spots to fill. ThATS like saying hey we accept losing this year to rebuild no thats not how it works fans dont spend their money and dediction to see that crap.

See I think this is just about stupid. You cant have a rebuilding process in the NFL anymore. Especially not in Miami. If we lose the first game there will be people calling for Cam's head, can you imagine what would happen if we took 3 years to rebuild. Cam understands that you have to get into a team and get a few winning seasons and develop your rookies under your vets. Does he think Green is going to take us to the superbowl probably not, but he does know Beck will get better watching Green and probably thinks Beck can take us there. I dont understand why all these people think you have to start rookies to be developing, you dont develop from the top to the bottom, you develop from the bottom up.

Can you rebuild in this league without sucking?

exactly it seems not, i hate re-builiding bull**** arse phases, they are full of crap you should try and be the best you can be every year. it seems we have been in some sort of 're-building phase' for a number of years now and we have probably reset about 5 times, i am sick of that rubbish lets start winning and get some playoff football happening. i am glad that we finally look like atleast attempting to go for some close to immediate success in making signings like green and porter, hopefully it all pans out and we have a good season.

And this post topped that because all it did was provide absolutley no contribution to the thread and brought no evidence or opinion whatsoever. It seems like a lot of your posts knock this team. The only guy you ever supported was Joey. Is there a reason for that?

I dont Seee Trent Green Bringing us to the Promised Land

Can you tell us why?

When they make the trade for Alan Faneca I'll beleive we aren't rebuilding.

Otherwise, without a pro-bowler on our OL, It ain't happening.
