The Packers also lost Finley and Cobb to injuries, but the loss of Rodgers was the final and biggest blow to the their season.
On the other hand, how about Nick Foles putting up more solid numbers. 16 TDs, 0 INTs this season; Video game numbers.

Same can be said for most teams. if the saints lost Brees, denver lose Manning, Pats lose Brady, etc, all three of those teams would struggle.
