After watching the Packers vs a Really good Panther team last weeks loss is not looking so bad. I watched the panthers being dominated on both sides of the ball. Cam Newton couldn't get anything done and the Packer offense looked like the 2000's Rams. We ran stride for stride with a Packer team that is really a Super Bowl Contender in the NFC and was a fake spike from winning the game. Maybe this Dolphin team isn't far away as we think. Maybe we don't look like a super bowl winner but let's get too the playoffs and lets see what happens. In a one game winner take all I'm not counting this team out in beating Denver in a one game scenario. This team certainly on paper has talent enough too play with any team in the league on any given Sunday.

Green Bay's win vs. Carolina today is a typical Packer win. That's what they do. The fact that Miami was 6 seconds away from beating them only shows that they still aren't good enough to beat the good/elite teams. It's a world of difference between hanging with a team vs. actually beating them.

We should have won. We gave it away. It hurt. The only good that came from that was how they rebounded on the road today. That is what good teams do.

I may have underestimated the abilities of this team.

Just to be sure nothing has changed from the reality I know, I checked on the ESPN site and they don't have a column in the standings for "not so bad losses." There's only one kind of loss.

We should have won that game...it's still bad.

Rodgers is on fire though...13 TDs, 0 INTs in the last 4 games and he's completing over 70% of his passes. 19/22 for 255 and 3 TDs today. Like I said before we played them...Packers go as Rodgers, Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb go. If you can stop two of the three you win easily.

Isn't there a difference between a "moral victory" a week later like this and pointing out factually that hey, the Packers and Chiefs are actually better than we thought they were earlier in the year? And maybe, just maybe, we aren't as bad as it seemed for losing to them?

Call me crazy, but I don't think pointing out these facts makes it a moral victory as I don't believe in those.

As we pounded the Bears today, I became more and more angry with losing last week's game.

That's a game that you must win when you're in that position late. You have to pull that one out.

The great teams do.

ugh. nothing makes losing a winnable game look good. they say statistics are for losers, I say comparisons are for losers

Only way to erase the Packer game we should've won.... beat Peyton Manning

Yes it is, when you're up 4 with 3 plus minutes left in the game with the ball and you lose it a bad loss......

I'd rather play a great team till the final buzzer than too get blown out. It is not that far of a climb from mediocre to good to great as there is bad too good. Bad teams get blown out week too week. I don't want too go through another 2007 season were we are hidious and a laughing stock. So what the last 15 yrs have been awful I choose not too complain about the past. We have too start somewhere and a perennial playoff team is a good start. Many teams over the past 15 yrs have gotten too the super bowl or deep into the playoffs at 9-7 or 10-6. This is not the NBA where only great teams go too the NBA finals. We don't have too beat a team best of 7.
